A new animated short offers a glimpse into the backstory of Liadrin, a key character in the upcoming World of Warcraft: Midnight. The short shows her transformation from a young girl into a dedicated, but haunted, priestess, revealing the reasons behind her fierce fight against the Void, which will continue in the new game.
She spent her childhood learning from her loving father, a time tragically cut short when a mysterious force tore them apart. Haunted by the memory of that loss, she’s driven to resist the darkness and believes the power of Light will shield her from corruption.
The new Midnight expansion continues the story from The War Within, bringing Xal’atath’s invasion to Azeroth and promising plenty of conflict and fresh gameplay. Players will be able to build and customize their own homes, and the Quel’Thalas region is getting significant updates. Expect more lively and unpredictable events in the open world, along with new Delves, dungeons, raids, and improvements to how you advance your character.
