Laguna Beach’s Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari Reunite in Rare Photo

Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari are coming clean.

Stars from the original *Laguna Beach: The Real O.C.* are squashing rumors of a long-standing disagreement by sharing a new photo together, nearly two decades after their on-screen rivalry first played out.

Everyone understood the importance of the occasion. Kristin perfectly captured the feeling in an October 11th post, jokingly writing, “Looks like we can all retire the ‘Team Lauren’ and ‘Team Kristin’ shirts now!”

Lauren celebrated by wearing white jeans and a white linen vest. Kristin chose a completely black outfit with a mini skirt, crop top, and jacket. Both women were all smiles!

People were thrilled that Kristin and Lauren—who viewers knew as LC from the show—had finally ended their long-standing feud.

One user jokingly declared millennials ‘fully healed,’ while another commented that the post seemed to be helping an entire generation process past trauma.

Lauren and Kristin weren’t the only stars from *Laguna Beach* reconnecting. The news came after it was announced in late September that a reunion special was being filmed.

I was SO excited when Lauren announced on Instagram that we’re getting a *Laguna Beach* reunion! She posted some amazing throwback photos of the cast and wrote, ‘Let’s go back to the beginning… Reuniting the cast of *Laguna Beach*, coming to the Roku Channel in 2026.’ I seriously can’t wait!

Besides seeing Kristin, Lauren also ran into some former classmates: Stephen, Trey Phillips, Talan Torriero, and Dieter Schmitz.

Oh my gosh, you guys, Talan just posted the *cutest* video of them all on the beach! And the caption? “California here we come!” Seriously, Lauren was even taking pictures of *them* – can you even handle the perfection? I’m dying! It’s everything!

Want to know what the stars of *Laguna Beach* are up to now, before their reunion next year? Keep reading to find out!

It was pretty funny to see Lisa Love from *Teen Vogue* tell Lauren Conrad she’d forever be known as the girl who skipped Paris – a line that actually came from *Vogue’s* Anna Wintour, as discovered in a 2019 look back at *The Hills*. But over ten years after making that controversial choice and ending things with Jason Wahler, Lauren has achieved so much more. She’s a *New York Times* bestselling author, co-founded The Little Market to support female artisans globally, and, of course, a fashion designer – her Kohl’s line, LC Lauren Conrad, is just the beginning of her now successful lifestyle brand.

She famously moved on from her public disagreements and, in 2014, married musician William Tell of the band Something Corporate after he finished law school. Their wedding was a beautiful event, often admired for its Pinterest-worthy style. They now have two sons: Liam James Tell, their firstborn, and Charlie Wolf Tell, who arrived in 2019.

Kristin Cavallari, known for her role on *Very Cavallari* and her outspoken personality, has successfully transitioned from reality TV to entrepreneurship. Her lifestyle brand, Uncommon James, continues to expand, with a second store opening in Chicago last fall. She’s also launched a shoe line with Chinese Laundry and authored two cookbooks, including *True Comfort*, which will be released on September 29th, following the success of her *New York Times* bestseller, *True Roots*.

Kristin Cavallari and former NFL player Jay Cutler were together for a decade and had three children – sons Camden Jack and Jaxon Wyatt, and daughter Saylor James – before separating in April 2020.

In 2021, Kristin filmed a cameo for The Hills: New Beginnings season two.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen some amazing transformations, but Heidi and Spencer Pratt’s is truly something special. Remember when they were the ‘villains’ on *The Hills*? Now they’re devoted parents to their sons, Gunner and Ryker, and they’re completely aware of their reality TV history! They definitely went through a public rough patch, airing their marital issues on shows like *Celebrity Big Brother* and *I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here*, but they cleverly used that to revitalize their brand. They actually spearheaded the *The Hills: New Beginnings* reboot in 2019, bringing ‘Speidi’ back into the spotlight. As Heidi told *Vogue*, reality TV is now a real career for them. But they’ve also learned from past mistakes – remember all the overspending? – and they’re building some smart side hustles, like their podcast and Spencer’s really successful Pratt Daddy crystal business. It’s a fantastic example of reinvention and turning a public image into a thriving lifestyle.

Lauren Conrad actually doesn’t want to be involved in any discussion about *The Hills*. She famously said on her podcast in 2018 that when someone asked about returning to the show, her response was a firm “no.” She explained that she wants to distance herself from everyone associated with it. It’s understandable, as people often move on when they change careers. Now living in New York City, Lauren—a graduate of The International Culinary Center and author of *The Lo-Down*—started Love Wellness, a line of personal care products for women, in 2016. She told TopMob News in 2020 that her life is completely different than it was a decade ago.

In March 2021, Lo surprised her followers by sharing on Instagram that she’d actually suffered a serious brain injury in an accident two years earlier, something she had kept private.

Brody’s time on *The Hills* first sparked public interest in his relationships, as he was linked to both Lauren and Kristin. This fascination continued as he focused on his career as a DJ (though his 2015 series *Sex With Brody* likely didn’t discourage it). He seemed to have found lasting love when he married Kaitlynn Carter in a 2018 Indonesian wedding, but the couple divorced in 2019.

He went on to find love with surfer Tia Blanco, with whom he welcomed daughter Honey Jenner in 2023.

Audrina Patridge first became known on reality TV with *The Hills* and has continued to appear on shows like *Dancing with the Stars* and her own VH1 series, *Audrina*. She also briefly hosted NBC’s *1st Look* and recently returned to MTV alongside the cast of *The Hills*. Beyond television, she launched her own swimwear line, Prey Swim. While she’s dated since her divorce from Corey Bohan—including reconnecting with Ryan Cabrera and a less-than-successful date with Justin Bobby Brescia—her priority now is her daughter, Kirra Max Bohan.

The reality star briefly lived in Paris in 2008, though she later admitted to *Vogue* it wasn’t a substantial stay. She returned to Los Angeles with her future husband, Tim Rosenman, who worked on her show. Now, she balances several projects: judging *Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model*, running her Love, Whit line with Rent the Runway, hosting the *With Whit* podcast, appearing on the reboot of *The Hills*, and raising her son, Sonny Sanford Rosenman.

Besides fueling fan fiction about a love triangle with LC and Kristin, Laguna Beach’s popular star is seriously pursuing an acting career. He appeared on The CW’s *One Tree Hill* for five seasons and played Taylor Swift’s love interest in her “White Horse” music video. He also briefly worked as a VJ on the original *Total Request Live*.

He and James Lafferty, his co-star from *OTH*, launched the Hulu series *Everyone Is Doing Great* in January 2021. Two years later, they reunited with Kristin for the *Back to the Beach* podcast, where they rewatched the show.

After appearing on *Laguna Beach*, KCav’s friend mostly stepped away from television. She briefly made headlines again in 2007 with a DUI arrest, but then built a quiet life in Texas with her husband, Michael Evans, whom she describes as incredibly kind and loving. They have four children. While she maintains a blog and online shop, she mostly jokes on Instagram about the everyday challenges of parenting – simply trying to keep track of her kids!

Jason Wahler, known for his rebellious behavior on reality shows like *Laguna Beach* and *The Hills*, struggled with numerous issues after his time on television – including drug use, driving under the influence, fights, and arrests. He finally got help when he appeared on *Celebrity Rehab* with Dr. Drew Pinsky. Since then, he’s married Ashley Slack, and credits her with helping him stay sober. Together, they have two children: a daughter, Delilah, born in 2017, and a son, Wyatt, born in 2021. He often describes Ashley as the most beautiful, loving, kind, and caring woman he knows.

Jason Wahler, the founder and owner of Widespread Recovery, continues to openly share his personal challenges on both the show *The Hills: New Beginnings* and his YouTube series, *JAWS Diaries with Jason & Ashley Wahler*.

Stephanie was initially brought onto the show to create conflict with Lauren, but the two unexpectedly became friends. This caused years of tension between Stephanie and her brother, Spencer. After appearing on British reality shows like *Celebrity Big Brother* and *Made in Chelsea*, and publishing a memoir in 2015 about her personal struggles, she returned to *The Hills* and quickly resumed causing trouble. Following a harsh critique of her co-stars—calling Heidi “evil” and Audrina “crazy”—Stephanie decided not to participate in a second season.

Casey wasn’t one of the original stars of *Laguna Beach*, but she definitely made an impact when she joined the show. Since then, she’s found success as a baker, opening Casey’s Cupcakes in Orange County and even winning *Cupcake Wars* on Food Network in 2011. Her personal life is equally fulfilling; she’s been married to Sean Brown (related to the late Nicole Brown Simpson) since August 2015, and they have two children: daughter Kensington Kelly Brown and son Sean Brown Jr.

Lauren and Stephen’s close friend pursued a career in hospitality, starting in New York and later becoming general manager of the Lore Group in Washington, D.C. in 2019. He remains close to his high school friends, including Lauren and Stephen, who were guests at his 2016 wedding to Isabell Hiebl in Monterey, California, along with Trey Phillips and Loren Polster. He and Isabell welcomed their son, Nico Josef Schmitz, in September 2018.
