Lana Condor Is Returning to To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before Universe

The Covey sisters are feeling the love once again.

Lana Condor will be reprising her role as Lara Jean Covey in season three of the Netflix series XO, Kitty. The show is a spin-off of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and follows Lara Jean’s younger sister, Kitty, played by Anna Cathcart, as she navigates matchmaking adventures.

Okay, so I just saw the cutest behind-the-scenes moment from set! Apparently, Sang Heon Lee – you know, the actor who plays Min Ho – called out “Covey?” and both Lana and Anna instantly turned around. It was such a sweet little interaction, and it really shows their connection even when the cameras aren’t rolling!

Lana posted the video to her Instagram March 6, writing in the caption, “Hi Sister.”

Lana Condor, who last played Lara Jean in the 2021 film To All the Boys: Always and Forever, was touched to be back in the world created by author Jenny Han, especially while working with a former co-star.

Lana shared with Netflix’s Tudum on March 6 how happy she was to return and see Anna. She praised Anna’s work, saying she created a fantastic world for XO, Kitty.

Oh my gosh, I’m seriously losing it! She said working with her again is a dream! Can you believe it? She’s so excited and happy to be back, and she actually feels honored to be part of it all. It’s just…everything I’ve been hoping for! I’m so thrilled for her, and honestly, for all of us!

Lana hinted that she might revisit the world of All the Boys in the future, stating that anything is possible.

In 2023, she told TheWrap that she deeply loves the world of To All the Boys and has spent a significant part of her young adult life involved with it, feeling as though it’s a place she truly belongs.

Lana isn’t the only actor from To All the Boys who appeared in XO, Kitty. Alongside John Corbett and Janel Parrish, Noah Centineo, who played Peter Kavinsky, also made an appearance in season two to visit Kitty.

I was so excited to hear that Noah jumped at the chance to work with Anna again! Apparently, Matt Kaplan, who produced All The Boys and is an executive producer on XO, Kitty, called him up, and Noah just couldn’t refuse. It’s amazing to see them collaborating once more!

Noah recounted to Deadline in 2025 that Matt Kaplan and a colleague from Netflix contacted him about returning for XO, Kitty. They explained he’d be filming in South Korea at the same time as them. Noah happily agreed, saying, ‘Yeah, anything for Anna.’ He praised Anna as a wonderful, hardworking, and incredibly talented professional who deserves all the success in the world.

Still, there was a bit of anxiety going back to a character he hadn’t played in several years.

Noah confessed that revisiting the character of Peter and exploring that part of his story felt overwhelming. He worried about not meeting expectations or letting people down, recognizing the character was well-defined. Ultimately, though, the opportunity was too good to pass up, and it ended up working out well. He couldn’t imagine saying no.

The third season of XO, Kitty will start streaming on Netflix on April 2nd. For more information about upcoming shows this year, continue reading.
