Did you know that Lana Del Rey has never had plastic surgery?
Lana Del Rey addressed a fan’s comment about her nose potentially having surgery, explaining what cosmetic procedure she *did* have.
Lana responded to an Instagram comment by sharing that she’s never had surgery or been under anesthesia, marking her 15th consecutive year without it. She also mentioned that getting fillers, like her doctor used to do, to reshape the bridge of the nose can create a smooth, tall appearance in just seven minutes.
The 40-year-old mentioned a nonsurgical rhinoplasty, often called a “liquid nose job.” This cosmetic procedure uses dermal fillers to temporarily reshape the nose, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
Though the procedure is less invasive, the results only last up to six months.
Lana (born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant) also pointed out that the photos being used to compare her current nose to past images had already appeared online without permission. Therefore, she feels it’s not surprising that people are now discussing whether or not she’s had cosmetic surgery.
She explained that Dr. Antel’s intern improperly shared patient ‘before’ photos years ago, violating privacy laws, which caused her a lot of worry, so I was already aware of the situation.
Lana has been open about having cosmetic procedures, but she’s not the only artist recently responding to rumors. Drake, for example, recently clarified that he hadn’t had plastic surgery to get more defined abs. He explained the confusion came from editing a photo with the Facetune app.
He explained on the September 2nd episode of Bobbi Althoff’s podcast, *Not This Again*, that he’d just come from the gym and was sweaty in the photo. He thinks he might have also increased the color saturation while editing it.
The 38-year-old added, “I think I hit it too hard. They don’t look like that.”
Plus, Drake noted that while people go under the knife “all the time,” he isn’t one of them.
He added that people have been saying he had a Brazilian Butt Lift, or BBL, and some even call him ‘BBL Drizzy’.

In a 2015 interview with *Harper’s Bazaar U.K.*, the actress known for *Twilight* stated she would “never” consider plastic surgery. She explained she was strongly opposed to the idea, saying she didn’t want to alter her appearance and believed those who did were making a mistake-essentially, damaging something naturally beautiful.

He explained on the *Not This Again* podcast with Bobbi Althoff that he’d just come from the gym when the picture was taken, and was likely sweaty. He thinks he might have also adjusted the colors in the photo, possibly by increasing the saturation.

While Drake noted that people go under the knife “all the time,” he isn’t one of them.
Honestly, I keep seeing comments about whether I’ve had a BBL – a Brazilian Butt Lift. It’s gotten to the point where some fans are even calling me ‘BBL Drizzy’ online! It’s wild to see that kind of talk, but I guess it just comes with being in the public eye.
The supermodel opened up about why she’s all about embracing her skin at every age.
In an August 2023 Instagram post, she shared a photo of her natural face at age 58, emphasizing she hadn’t used any fillers, Botox, or had cosmetic surgery. She explained she’s chosen to age naturally without any facial enhancements, and the photo was taken with good lighting and professional makeup.
Sometimes, I actually like how my face is changing. I feel like it’s gaining character, even if it’s not as conventionally pretty as it once was. It feels like a worthwhile exchange.
The Oscar winner revealed whether or not she’s gotten plastic surgery.
I was so thrilled to read her recent interview with *Allure*! She talked about how her face is naturally changing with age, and she *loves* it! It’s amazing to me that she’s so confident and embraces the process. People were actually asking if she’d had work done, and her response was perfect – she basically said, ‘I’m just getting older, you guys! It’s not a bad facelift, it’s just life!’ It’s so refreshing to hear her talk about aging so honestly and beautifully.
Actress Brittany Snow, known for her role in *Pitch Perfect*, revealed in a 2023 interview with *People* magazine that she’s never had cosmetic injections like Botox or fillers. She explained that because she earns a living using her face, she’s chosen to avoid them, but added that she doesn’t judge anyone who does.
She added, “Basically I’m terrified of f–king it up.”
The actress from *Magic Mike* recently clarified that she has never had Botox. She stated simply on Kelly Ripa’s *Let’s Talk Off Camera* podcast, “No Botox!”
Lana Del Rey addressed fan speculation about whether she’d had a nose job, confirming she hasn’t had any surgical work done.
Okay, so I was totally scrolling through Instagram and saw this post from Lana – seriously, she’s amazing! She wrote that she *still* hasn’t had any plastic surgery or even been put under anesthesia, can you believe it? Fifteen years! But then she dropped this little tip… she said if you’re thinking about filler, like her doctor used to do, getting it on the bridge of your nose can make it look taller and get rid of any bump. And get this – it only takes *seven minutes*! I’ve been screenshotting and analyzing this for days, it’s brilliant!
Lana mentioned a non-surgical nose job, which involves using injectable fillers to reshape the nose. The Cleveland Clinic explains this is a temporary solution, with results lasting around six months.
The supermodel, famous from the 1990s, filed a lawsuit in 2021 against Zeltiq Aesthetics. She claimed that a fat-reduction procedure she had with the company in 2015 and 2016 caused permanent damage. The case was settled in 2022.
In January 2021, while she was pregnant, the model addressed fans’ comments on Instagram. Someone had suggested she stop getting lip injections, and she responded that she’s never actually had them. She added that she doesn’t judge anyone who does, and pointed out that you can’t get injections while pregnant anyway.
I’ve been a huge fan of Jennifer Lopez for years, and honestly, she hasn’t changed a bit! She actually addressed rumors about getting work done herself, telling someone on Instagram back in January 2021 that she’s never had Botox, fillers, or any surgery – and that’s just the truth according to her.
The actress from *Friends* had surgery as a young woman to correct a deviated septum, but she has publicly said she doesn’t support Botox or other facial fillers.
She explained to Yahoo! Beauty in 2014 that Hollywood puts a lot of pressure on women to avoid looking their age. She’s noticed many actresses attempting to stay young through procedures she doesn’t agree with, and she feels thankful she can learn from their choices and avoid similar treatments herself.
The actress told Harper’s Bazaar in 2013 that she’s pretty much explored all options. While she’s currently hesitant about surgery, she’d be open to trying anything when she turns 50. However, she definitely won’t be getting Botox again, saying it gave her an unnatural look.
In a 2012 interview with *InStyle* magazine, actress and *Charlie’s Angels* star said she believes in accepting life’s challenges instead of struggling against them, explaining her philosophy as, “Don’t fight the rings on the trunk of a tree. Just keep counting ’em.”
“The idea of not looking like myself scares me,” she added.
In a 2011 interview with *The Telegraph*, the *Love Actually* actress explained her frustration with society’s obsession with youth, saying, “I’m not trying to change who I am. We live in a culture where everyone feels pressure to look 30, even when they’re 60.”
The Academy Award-winning actress explained to *MORE* magazine in 2007 that cosmetic surgery simply wasn’t for her. She clarified she had no objections to others choosing it, saying, “Everyone should do what makes them happy.” However, she personally preferred people noticing her natural features, even if they weren’t considered conventionally perfect. She’d rather someone comment on her nose, for example, than assume she’d had work done to change it, because she didn’t want to appear insecure about her natural self.
In a 2011 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the singer stated that she believed encouraging people to feel insecure and then offering plastic surgery as a solution is far more damaging than creatively altering one’s body.
Back in 2011, Kate Winslet, known for her role in *Titanic*, shared with *The Telegraph* that she’s against cosmetic surgery. She explained that it clashes with her personal values, how she was raised, and her belief in embracing natural beauty.
Honestly, I was floored when she said that! It was like, ‘Never!’ She’s so dedicated, you know? She explained it’s because she *is* an actress, and she refuses to lose the ability to express herself – she won’t let anything take that away from her. It’s just… amazing. She’s fiercely protective of her craft, and I totally get it!
