It’s been almost a year since Bob Mortimer first won ‘Last One Laughing UK,’ and now he’s competing again in the show’s second season to try and win the title once more. The show has been very popular with viewers.
Prime Video announced that the popular series is back on Thursday, March 19th. The first three episodes will be available to stream immediately upon release, with episodes four and five arriving on March 26th, and the season finale on April 2nd.
This season’s lineup includes some fantastic comedians like David Mitchell (known from Peep Show), Diane Morgan (Mandy), Romesh Ranganathan (Rob & Romesh Vs…), Amy Gledhill (Alma’s Not Normal), Maisie Adam (Taskmaster), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Alan Carr (Chatty Man), Gbemisola Ikumelo (Black Ops), Sam Campbell (Taskmaster), and the very first winner, Bob Mortimer (Shooting Stars).
Over the course of six episodes, the comedians will push their comedic skills to the limit, attempting to make their opponents crack up while trying not to laugh themselves.
As always, the contestants won’t be the only ones keeping things interesting. Prime Video hints at funny guest appearances, unexpected challenges, and plenty of surprises meant to entertain both those competing and those watching at home.
As a big fan of comedy, I was thrilled to see how popular ‘Last One Laughing UK’ became on Prime Video! It was such a success that they’ve already announced a second season – and that was only two months after the first one finished! I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
Jimmy Carr joked that the show’s return likely happened because someone at Amazon accidentally signed up for automatic renewals on Prime Video.
