Bloober Team, known for making scary games, has revealed the next installment in the Layers of Fear series, which first launched in 2016. It’s called Layers of Fear 3.
To mark their 10th anniversary, the studio announced the game with two videos. One is a dramatic trailer that reveals the game’s title at the very end.
Bloober Team also released a longer video where they talked about Layers of Fear in general, and then shared the news mentioned above.
We don’t have much information about this new game yet – there’s no release date and Bloober Team hasn’t announced which platforms it will be on. However, since their last two games were released on PlayStation, we’re guessing this one will be too.
Bloober Team has significantly grown since their first game, Layers of Fear. They recently gained recognition for their well-received remake of Silent Hill 2, and last year released Cronos: The New Dawn, which critics enjoyed, though it didn’t attract a large audience.
We’ve heard they’re also developing a remake of the original Silent Hill, which isn’t surprising considering how successful their last remake was.
Alright, everything’s ready to go! What are you hoping to see in Layers of Fear 3? Are you looking forward to playing it? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
