We get the first full The Mummy trailer
Brenda Fraser’s The Mummy succeeded as an action movie, but Tom Cruise’s attempt didn’t quite capture the same magic, despite also leaning into action over horror. Now, the newest Mummy reboot seems to be heading back to its horror origins. Director Lee Cronin proved his skill with the successful Evil Dead Rise, which earned $147 million worldwide. Because of that film’s success, Cronin is now directing a reimagining of The Mummy, and the trailer promises a bold and terrifying take on the classic story.
