Looking for the impressive LEGO *Back to the Future* DeLorean time machine? Walmart currently has the 1872-piece set (#10300) on sale for $170 – that’s 30% off! While it’s a good deal, LEGO just announced an even more affordable *Back to the Future* set today: the Speed Champions #77256.
The newest LEGO Speed Champions set is a *Back to the Future* time machine! You can pre-order it now on Amazon and the LEGO website for $27.99, and it will be available starting January 1st. This set is a quick build with 357 pieces and includes exclusive minifigures of Marty McFly and Doc Brown. These figures are designed to look like their iconic outfits from the original *Back to the Future* movie, featuring Marty’s red vest and Doc’s lab coat – different from the figures in the previous set which were based on *Back to the Future Part II*.

You can put the minifigures inside the time machine’s cockpit. Just like the bigger set, this model can be rebuilt into different versions seen in the movies. You can build it as the time machine from the first *Back to the Future* film, complete with the lightning hook, or as the flying version from *Back to the Future Part II*, with the Mr. Fusion reactor. It also includes details like the flux capacitor, time calculator, and the iconic OUTATIME license plate, plus even more features.

LEGO Back to the Future Speed Champions Time Machine Set #77256 / $27.99 / Launches January 1st
pre-order on amazon
This new Back to the Future LEGO Speed Champions set looks fantastic, and at just $27.99, it’s likely to sell out quickly! Even if you already have the larger Back to the Future set, this one is worth getting for the different minifigures – they’ll let you create a display that’s more accurate to the movie.
Next year marks the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future, and we anticipate celebrations throughout the entire year. Just recently, Fisher-Price released a Back to the Future Little People Collector set. These figures are a great size for collectors – falling between LEGO minifigures and Funko Pops – and are ideal for subtle displays.
