LEGO Star Wars UCS Death Star (75419) Set Officially Unveiled, And The Rumors About The Price Were True

The much-anticipated LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series Death Star (Set #75419) has been one of the most talked-about upcoming LEGO sets, and today we finally have all the official details. As expected, it lives up to the hype. It’s important to note that this is the third Death Star set LEGO has released; the first came in 2008 with Set #10188 consisting of 3803 pieces and 24 minifigures, followed by Set #75159 in 2016 which had 4016 pieces and 27 minifigures. The upcoming set significantly outshines its predecessors with a massive 9023 pieces and an impressive 38 minifigures.

This creation surpasses the UCS Millennium Falcon (previously recognized as the Star Wars record holder with 7,541 pieces) and outnumbers the Marvel Avengers Tower’s 31 minifigures. In terms of total pieces, it ranks fifth in LEGO history, falling behind only the LEGO Art World Map, LEGO Icons Eiffel Tower, LEGO Icons Titanic, and LEGO Icons Colosseum sets.

The LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series Death Star, model number #75419, will be available at a price of $999.99 starting from October 1st. This product is exclusive for LEGO Insiders and comes with additional free gifts (as per the offers below).

Instead of the conventional LEGO Death Star sets featuring a spherical design, the #75419 model deviates by showcasing a cutaway version, highlighting significant scenes from the space station. Key locations in this set include the Superlaser control room, trash compactor, Imperial boardroom, Princess Leia’s cell, and the Emperor’s throne room, accompanied by a hangar bay housing a Lambda-class shuttle.
To enhance the experience, numerous character variations such as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, and Grand Moff Tarkin are provided. New minifigures like Galen Erso, Director Orson Krennic from Rogue One, and a Hot Tub Stormtrooper have also been added as exclusive additions.
