Life is Strange Collection Physical Release Announced for PS5, Out on October 2

Square Enix has unveiled the “Life is Strange Collection” for PlayStation 5. This physical edition gathers all five games from the “Life is Strange” series, and can now be pre-ordered through the official Square Enix Store. The release date for “Life is Strange Collection” is set for October 2, with a price tag of $59.99.

The Life is Strange Bundle encompasses remastered versions of Life is Strange, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, Life is Strange 2, Life is Strange: True Colors (Deluxe Edition), and Life is Strange: Double Exposure Ultimate Edition. This collection not only provides you with each game but also includes all downloadable content and pre-order incentives that were distributed for every title.

Each game within this collection narrates its distinctive tale featuring individual main characters, starting with Max Caulfield in the initial game, followed by Chloe Price in Before the Storm.

The “Life is Strange Collection” includes the games “True Colors” and “Double Exposure” as physical discs, while you’ll need to redeem an online code for access to the other three games, all additional DLC, and pre-order bonuses.

In October 2024, the newest installment in the series, titled “Life is Strange: Double Exposure,” was unveiled. This game brings back Max Caulfield, our main character from the original “Life is Strange.” Set a decade after the initial storyline, the action now unfolds at Caledon University located in Vermont.

Max serves as a photographer, but following the tragic discovery of her friend Safi’s lifeless body in the snow, she gains extraordinary powers connected to time. The fundamental gameplay elements within “Life is Strange: Double Exposure” revolve around Max’s ability to transition between two distinct timelines. By manipulating these timelines, Max embarks on a quest to uncover Safi’s cause of death and potentially alter events to prevent her friend’s untimely demise altogether.

In our assessment, we rated Life is Strange: Double Exposure 9/10. We appreciated its compelling narrative, memorable characters, and the impactful decisions that players must confront. However, we pointed out some technical flaws and occasional instances of poor writing.
