Enthusiasts of the live-action reboot of Lilo & Stitch, who seem to be numerous given the film’s impressive box office performance, now have something to look forward to, as the date for its release on Disney+ has been revealed.
The movie is set to premiere on the streaming platform on September 3, 2025, marking a significant period of time after its initial release in theaters on May 23.
Lilo & Stitch has been an enormous hit, earning a staggering $1.025 billion globally so far. It currently holds the title of the highest-grossing American film internationally this year, with only China’s blockbuster Ne Zha 2 surpassing it when considering worldwide box office earnings.

You could envision a hilarious auto accident on a busy road, yet it’d be hard for any live-action director to pull off using actual vehicles and individuals, given the concerns about safety.
Indeed, we put in considerable effort to find a balance between maintaining the distinctive charm of Stitch, as well as incorporating the chaos and excitement from the film, all while avoiding potential hazards along the way.
