As a big fan of the Little Nightmares series, I was so excited when Little Nightmares 3 finally came out on October 10th, 2025! It was a big change because it’s the first one you can play with a friend, and surprisingly, it’s the first Little Nightmares game not actually made by the original developers, Tarsier Studios. They’ve moved on to something new, so Bandai Namco teamed up with Supermassive Games – who really know their horror – to make this one. Honestly, it didn’t quite grab me the same way the first two games did, but the developers are working hard to fix things. They just released a November update that improves the game on all consoles, though it seems to give PlayStation a little extra love.
The latest update for Little Nightmares 3 addresses issues players have reported, including a key fix for PlayStation consoles to improve stability. The game sometimes experienced performance problems on PlayStation, and this update should resolve those. PC players using Intel XeSS 2.0 can also expect to see better performance.
Beyond these major additions, we’ve also made several improvements to how the game plays and progresses. Your AI companion will behave more reliably, and enemies will move in a more predictable way, which should make sneaking around easier. We’ve also tweaked the audio and fixed a number of user interface issues, including updates to the menus so Little Nightmares 3 runs smoothly on a wider range of screens.
The biggest improvements in this update focus on multiplayer, which is a key feature of Little Nightmares 3. The team has worked to make online play more reliable. This update fixes several issues, including smoother connections between players and better teamwork when solving puzzles. Now, you and your friends should be able to play together without puzzles getting out of sync.
You can find a complete list of changes in the November Update for Little Nightmares 3 below. The update is available now on most platforms, and it will come to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on November 27th, 2025.
