Dragami Games has announced that Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will release on May 28th, costing $54.99 or 7,590 yen. The game was originally scheduled for March 26th. Players who already own the Switch version can upgrade to the new edition with an upgrade pack for $9.99 or 1,100 yen.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP was initially released on September 12, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC (through Steam). Later, on December 2, 2024, it became available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. By August 12, 2025, the game had sold over 300,000 copies.
Here are the latest details:
We’re sorry to announce that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will be released later than expected. We apologize for the delay and any inconvenience it may cause.
We originally planned to release the game on March 26, 2026. However, while we continue working on the version for the new Nintendo Switch 2, we’ve realized the current Nintendo Switch version also needs major improvements. Because of this, we’ve made the tough call to delay the release until May 28, 2026.
The free “Burlesque Bunny” costume, originally scheduled to be released with the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, will now be available at a later date.
We’re truly sorry to fans who have been eagerly awaiting the game and its updates.
■ Upcoming Update Schedule, Including “Burlesque Bunny”
The costumes that won the Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Costume Design Contest, which ran from September 2nd to October 27th last year, were going to be added to the game one after another, starting with the “Burlesque Bunny” outfit. However, the release plan changed.
Because the release of the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition has been delayed, we’re going to release the updates we had planned for later, sooner. We want to get new content to our players as quickly as we can.
The next update will introduce the second winning costume, “Die Hard Patriot.”
This eye-catching outfit, with a bikini and hot pants designed like the American flag, makes a strong statement in Juliet’s collection.

This costume is scheduled for release in early March 2026 for the following platforms:
PlayStation / Xbox / PC
We’re currently focusing our development efforts on the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, so unfortunately, the costumes you voted for won’t be added until after that version – Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition – is released. Thanks for your patience!
We’re also currently working on the winning costume designs, “Succubus Juliet” and “Kogal”.
We are pleased to share new images showing the current progress.

We’ll share release dates for upcoming updates on our official X account (@Dragami_Games) as soon as we have them. Keep an eye on our page for the latest news!
