For the action role-playing game, Lost Soul Aside by Ultizero Games, which has been under development for over ten years, opinions vary widely. At present, it holds a “Mixed” rating on Steam. However, as critical reviews are emerging, they share numerous similar grievances.

As of now, the Metascore for the PS5 version stands at 60, derived from six reviews (one is still in progress). IGN Spain awarded it a score of 7 out of 10. They praised the game’s exciting combat with innovative features but criticized its storyline as forgettable, with unmemorable characters and an indifferent portrayal of the world.

Eurogamer Germany, in their 4 out of 10 review, mirrored similar criticisms by stating that while “skilled combat enthusiasts might appreciate its battles,” others may find it challenging to overlook its shortcomings. On a more optimistic note, Gamersky awarded it an 8 out of 10, commending the game for offering “thirty hours of unadulterated, thrilling action.” However, they also noted that the story wasn’t particularly noteworthy.

Eurogamer Germany and Gamersky had differing opinions about the game. Eurogamer Germany, with a score of 4 out of 10, found that combat enthusiasts might like it but others may struggle due to its flaws. On the other hand, Gamersky gave it an 8 out of 10 and appreciated the intense action for thirty hours, though they felt the story was less impressive.
