If you enjoyed the original God of War games on PlayStation 2 and the first few PlayStation 3 titles, you’ll definitely want to check out Loulan: The Cursed Sand.
ChillyMoon, a studio in Shenzhen, is developing a fresh character action game with a unique isometric perspective. The project is supported by Sony’s China Hero Project, known for fostering talented Chinese game developers.
This game, launching as a PlayStation 5 exclusive, tells a heartbreaking love story. It follows a royal guard who returns to his war-torn homeland, the fallen kingdom of Loulan, in search of the princess he loves.

The blurb adds:
In this game, you control The Cursed Sand, a skeletal warrior who can manipulate sand to navigate a dangerous world seen from above. You’ll face tough enemies in challenging, realistic combat, solve puzzles, and uncover the story behind your character’s curse.
You’ll be able to switch between a bone form and a sand form for your character, which will give you new ways to fight and solve puzzles.
With so many games copying Dark Souls, this one stands out with its quick, action-packed combat. Like the classic God of War games, you’ll often face several enemies at the same time. Plus, you can learn new abilities to customize how you play.
We don’t have a release date yet, but everything we’ve seen so far looks amazing. This is a great addition to Sony’s lineup.
