Prime Video has shared some initial photos from its new action comedy series, Ride or Die, and announced the release date for all eight episodes.
All episodes of Ride or Die will premiere on Prime Video on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, which is just a few months away!
Octavia Spencer (known for “Truth Be Told”) and Hannah Waddingham (from “Ted Lasso”) both star in and executive produce the series. Tessa Coates (who worked on “Feel Good”) created it, Matt Miller (of “Peacemaker”) is the showrunner, and Peyton Reed (director of “Ant-Man”) directed it.
The show features a talented cast including Bill Nighy, known from ‘Love Actually,’ Ed Skrein (‘Jurassic World: Rebirth’), Sylvia Hoeks (‘Twilight of the Gods’), Calam Lynch (‘What It Feels Like for a Girl’), and Savannah Steyn (‘The Gold’). Jamie Parker (‘The Hack’) and Jacky Ido (‘The Widow’) will also play significant roles.

The show centers around Debbie and Judith, best friends who share everything… or so they thought. The story takes a surprising turn when Debbie discovers Judith is secretly a highly skilled international assassin.
Okay, so this new series? It’s got a really intriguing setup. Apparently, someone from Judith’s past suddenly reappears, and things immediately go south – a job goes completely wrong, and both she and this mysterious figure are forced to run for their lives. It sounds like a proper thriller, and I’m already hooked by the premise!
They’re in a desperate chase across Europe, trying to outrun both the police and ruthless criminals who are hot on their trail.
Since the show is coming out in July, it will be released right before the new season of Waddingham’s popular show, Ted Lasso.

The next season will premiere on Apple TV on August 5th, and new episodes will be released each week, a different approach than the way all episodes of Ride or Die were released at once.
