Many viewers were puzzled by the show Love Is Blind choosing to send just six of the seven engaged couples to Mexico this season, and you’re definitely not the only one who wondered why.
After getting engaged, many viewers were curious why Vic St. John and Christine Hamilton chose a trip to Malibu instead of joining the rest of the season 10 cast in Cabo.
But as it turns out, the reason was purely a logistical one, according to show creator Chris Coelen.
As a huge fan of Love Is Blind, I was so excited to read Chris’s interview with Tudum! He revealed they usually only film with six couples, but this season, they were so impressed with everyone that they decided to follow seven! He said that makes this the biggest season of Love Is Blind ever, and honestly, I can already tell it’s going to be amazing!
To make things happen, we had to send one couple on a private trip to Malibu. These getaways aren’t just about seeing if couples can become physically intimate; they also give people a chance to work through any unresolved feelings or issues with people they previously dated while in the pods.
While Amber Morrison and Jordan Faeth, Ashley Carpenter and Alex Henderson, Brianna McNees and Connor Spies, Emma Betsinger and Mike Gibney, Jessica Barrett and Chris Fucco, and Devonta Anderson and Brittany Wicker all vacationed in Cabo, Christine and Vic chose Malibu. They were sent to Malibu because they seemed like the couple least likely to cause trouble.
As a huge fan, I was so happy to hear Chris explain that Christine and Vic weren’t as closely connected to the other couples left, so the show offered them that amazing trip to Malibu! They said yes, and honestly, I was thrilled for them! It’s just wonderful to see all the couples thriving, and I love that we get to follow their journeys with them.

When Christine found out she wouldn’t be going to Cabo the day after she and Vic became official, she started to worry. She remembered being told that if they both decided to go, something would happen. As she told Tudum, it suddenly hit her: maybe Vic didn’t want to go after all.
Her concerns turned out to be unnecessary. During a FaceTime conversation, she and Vic, 34, talked about their choices, and he shared his enthusiasm for having a place just for the two of them.
According to the 31-year-old, Vic was full of energy and excitedly asked, âHey, are we going to Malibu?â She responded, âYes, weâre going to Malibu.â

Even though things were different for them compared to the rest of the group, the couple say they wouldn’t trade their experience for anything.
Christine described it as a truly special and important moment for their relationship, saying she wouldnât have changed a thing.
Vic shared that being with his partner felt like paradise. They spent hours talking, reminiscing about their early conversations, and planning future trips together. He felt that even if they spent more time with the other couples, it wouldn’t diminish the special connection they already had, as they always enjoyed each other’s company.
Whether Christine and Vic will get married remains to be seen, and fans will find out when new episodes are released on February 18th.
Until then, keep reading for a status update on the couples from Love Is Blindâs seasons pastâŠ

Ultimately, Antonâs lifestyle and money problems werenât a good fit for what Ali wanted.
She told the truck driver at their wedding, “I can’t marry you.” She explained that the man she connected with while they were dating in the pods was very different from the person she’d gotten to know outside of that setting.
So, she listened to her intuition.
She explained to the cameras that the experience didn’t meet her expectations and felt off. She also felt he hadn’t been completely honest about his life.
Anton admitted he wasn’t sure what went wrong â whether it was a matter of appearances, a change in their connection, or simply how they lived together. However, he insisted he always cared for her deeply.

Despite finding common ground through shared experiences with family members who have Type 1 diabetes, Megan and her fiancĂ© had very different approaches to life â he favored simplicity, while she enjoyed luxury. This ultimately led Megan to end their engagement, as revealed in the season nine finale.
âItâs like weâre just passing each other without really connecting,â the entrepreneur explained. But Jordan didnât understand the comparison, simply saying, âI donât get it.â
After Megan mentioned Jordan’s fussy eating and difficult travel commitments as a father, he responded by questioning why she had chosen him in the pods in the first place.
She admitted she’d hoped their differences would work out, but ultimately had doubts. “Looking back,” she said, starting to cry, “I realize I never wanted to get married and risk making either of us unhappy.”
Jordan admitted his biggest regret was letting his son, Luca, meet her. He confessed he feels she doesn’t love him for who he is, and realizing that is what he needs to move on.
Megan confessed that the experience made her doubt her abilities as a mother, wondering if she was too focused on her own needs.

At their wedding, both Kalybriah and Edmond expressed strong feelings for each other, saying they loved each other very much. However, Kalybriah ultimately rejected Edmondâs proposal, offering her apologies.
She told the realtor she needed someone who was fully committed, and admitted she wasnât in that place herself. However, she quickly added that saying no didnât mean she didnât care for him.
Edmond was upset and started crying, but Kalybriah thanked him for handling the situation with dignity as she explained her difficult decision. When he asked if they might date sometime in the future, Kalybriah reassured him that she wasn’t ruling it out completely.
“I am shocked,” he said in a confessional of her decision. “There was no bright side.”

Joe ended things with his partner before they could get married in season nine, breaking up with them after an emotional episode while trying on his tuxedo.
Madison shared with Glamour that Joe presented different sides of himself depending on whether they were filming or not. When the cameras weren’t rolling, he was comforting and affectionate, often physically close. But on camera, his behavior was completely different, and you can actually see this contrast during the pool party scene.
Madison directly asked Joe if he was attracted to her, and he admitted it had been a problem while they were on vacation.
I was chatting with someone recently, and I asked what kind of people they usually went for. He admitted he typically dated women who were smaller in stature. Now, I consider myself a very confident person, but his comment actually made me feel a little insecure in that moment. It was a surprising reaction, honestly, but it just goes to show how even the most self-assured people can be affected by offhand remarks.
Joe explained that he was clumsily trying to describe a recurring pattern in his dating history, and didn’t intend to compare or judge anyone.

Nick broke up with Annie right before their wedding, telling her he felt upset that she always claimed to love him more than he loved her.
Honestly, it was heartbreaking to witness. Even after Nick ended things, his hairstylist just couldn’t accept it. She desperately tried to change his mind, practically begging him to stay with her and saying, ‘Just be with me, and love me.’ It was a really tough situation to see unfold.
“You can’t make one plus one equal three,” he said, prompting her to say, “Watch me.”Â
Nick finally explained to Annie that he didn’t want to marry her because he was unhappy.

Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe what happened with Dave and Lauren! Everyone was so excited when they arrived in Honduras, thinking they’d finally have a chance, but it just⊠fizzled. It wasn’t even about having the same friends, which was so weird because they did! The real killer? Apparently, Dave found out Lauren had, like, a thing with someone they both knew before the show even started. He just couldnât get past it, and it totally stalled everything. I was SO invested, and it was heartbreaking to watch! He was clearly hesitant and couldn’t move forward, and it was all because of that pre-show drama. Ugh, it ruined everything!
Plus, Dave hadn’t wanted to introduce Lauren to his friends or family. He hadn’t even told his dad he was engaged, and his sister, who would later cause a lot of problems, didn’t approve of the relationship at all.

Many viewers thought Monica and Joey were a perfect match and expected them to get married. But when the time came, Monica decided she wasn’t ready for marriage just yet.
She said, tears welling up, that she was completely sure of how she felt, but felt they both still had a ways to go. Joey wholeheartedly agreed.
He hugged her and reassured her that everything was alright. He said they clearly cared deeply for each other, but he felt they both needed to focus on personal growth right now. He admitted he wasnât ready for a relationship, and wasnât sure he would be anytime soon.

Despite significant differences in their beliefs and values, Ben and Sara appeared to be in agreement as their wedding day approached. However, they eventually realized they weren’t compatible and decided to end their relationship.
Sara, who previously told me she didn’t see a future with Ben, explained to him, “Ben, I care about you deeply, but I’ve always envisioned a partner who shares my way of thinking. Because of that, I can’t continue this relationship. I’m truly sorry if that’s not what you wanted to hear.”
She explained that while she deeply cares for him, their core beliefs are too different for her to continue the relationship. Although her heart is involved, she ultimately knows it won’t work because they don’t share the same values.

Devin and Virginia appeared to be a strong couple, looking forward to their future together after completing the relationship pods. However, their harmony was disrupted when they started discussing a prenuptial agreement.
Honestly, it wasn’t just little things that made Virginia decide Devin wasn’t the one. There were some really significant problems that ultimately led her to realize she couldn’t see a future with him, and she had to say no to spending her life together.
After leaving the altar, she explained, with tears in her eyes, that she often felt the need to shield Devin throughout their relationship. She wasn’t sure if it was due to her upbringing, but protecting him was always a priority. This meant avoiding certain sensitive subjects, like politics, and respecting his boundaries even if it meant they didn’t fully explore all aspects of their connection. Ultimately, they never reached a deeper level of understanding because of this dynamic.

In the end, Daniel and Taylor were the happy couple who decided to commit to a lifetime of love, promising to stay together long after the holidays were over.
Honestly, I was really worried about Taylor and Daniel at first! Apparently, Taylor thought Daniel had been playing games with following and unfollowing her on Instagram before the show, and she was convinced he knew what she looked like. It seemed like a weird issue, but thankfully, they were able to work through it and it didn’t become a big deal.
After sharing heartfelt vows, the couple had a lovely wedding and celebrated with a reception.
âWe did it!â Daniel exclaimed, sitting with Taylor after their wedding. Taylor added, beaming, âWe canât wait to start our life together.â

Okay, so you might have heard about the art dealer and the author of Keeping Well â they actually got engaged for a little while! It was a bit complicated, though, because heâd been dealing with some personal stuff involving another woman, Hannah Jiles. Ultimately, they realized they were better suited as friends, and decided to call off the wedding. It’s a reminder that even seemingly perfect relationships sometimes work out differently than planned, and thatâs okay!
Brittany and Leo realized they didn’t have a romantic connection, as Brittany explained to People magazine. They discussed the possibility of making things work at the start of their time together, but as they got to know each other, it became clear there wasnât a spark. They both felt this way and were able to talk about it openly and respectfully, making the realization and subsequent decision relatively easy.
After becoming known from a Netflix dating show, Brittany began dating musician Mod Sun in November 2024. However, she announced their breakup in July 2025.

Monica and Stephen split up after she found explicit text messages between her fiancé and another woman while they were still on vacation in Mexico. Stephen initially apologized on the show, but later posted a message on social media after the episode aired.
In an October 2024 post on Instagram Stories, he expressed regret if his mere existence had upset anyone. He apologized to those he might have bothered, saying he wished they hadn’t had to start their day, but assured them he still cared for them deeply.

After leaving the pods, Hannah and Nick experienced plenty of challenges and arguments. Hannah famously stated, “I think you’re treated as an equal when you start contributing like one.”
Honestly, things really fell apart when Hannah realized they weren’t meant to get married. It was devastating for Nick, who later admitted it was one of the hardest experiences he’d ever gone through. It just goes to show, sometimes even the most promising relationships don’t work out as planned.
Since then, Hannah has admitted the show forced her to do some self-introspection.
She recently shared that sheâs been doing some self-reflection and realized areas where she can improve. Speaking on the The Viall Files podcast, she explained that while sheâs always been a straightforward person, she recognizes her communication style can be a bit harsh. Sheâs come to understand that how you say something is just as important as what you say.

Taylor and Garrett instantly connected, feeling like a perfect match â almost as if fate (and maybe their matching tattoos!) brought them together. They had one difficult moment when Taylor discovered Garrett had replied to a message from a former girlfriend, but he assured her he quickly ended the conversation and reaffirmed his commitment. After that, their relationship blossomed, becoming a memorable part of the Love Is Blind story.
The pair were still married at the Love Is Blind reunion in October 2024.

You won’t believe this, but despite being a strong couple and early favorites to succeed, Ramses called off his wedding to Marissa because he had doubts.
After a serious conversation, Marissa told her fiancé she was excited about their future together and wanted to marry him. He replied, simply, that he understood love always involves risk.
He acknowledged that their disagreements â like their differing views on the military â could be too significant to overcome. He explained that, having observed marriage both personally and through others, he believes love isn’t always enough for a successful relationship. Other important factors need to be in place as well.
Okay, so with Marissa, things really fell apart after she realized it was officially over. Despite trying to stay strong, she just completely broke down. She actually told him she wished he hadn’t even come on the show, questioning how she could be so certain about wanting a future together when he clearly didn’t feel the same. It was heartbreaking â she confessed it was the worst day of her life and she desperately wanted him to choose her.

Tyler and Ashley were a popular couple on the show, and viewers enjoyed watching their romance develop. Things became complicated when Tyler revealed he had three children, which Ashley controversially called his “sperm donor babies.” Some people online have questioned how involved Tyler is as a father, but he hasn’t spoken publicly about these discussions.
Ashley and Tyler resolved their differences and reconnected by the October 2024 reunion show, eventually marrying each other.
“These past two months have been incredible and have completely changed our lives,” Tyler shared, sitting with Ashley after their wedding. “Now we can finally start our lives together, forever.”
However, Ashley later shared that the pair had called it quits following over one year of marriage.Â
In a statement released in January 2025, she announced that she and Tyler have separated and are getting divorced. She explained that after a lot of thought, they realized they were growing apart and couldn’t continue their marriage, despite hoping they could work through their differences.

Alex and Tim appeared to resolve their serious disagreement during their trip to Mexico, and their relationship seemed stronger than before when they returned to Washington, D.C. Things got even better when Tim had a heartfelt conversation with Alexâs father, which suggested a promising future for them.
After Alex met Tim’s family, they had another fight, and Tim ended their engagement, telling Alex he never wanted to see her again. Since the breakup, both Alex and Tim have publicly shared their sides of the story, with Alex clarifying that the split wasn’t a joint decision.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen couples go through their ups and downs, and Chelsea and Jimmy were no different. They had a few bumps in the road throughout their relationship, but it was so lovely to witness them seemingly resolve everything during a fun date at an amusement park just before their wedding. It felt like a beautiful turning point for them!
Jimmy ended his engagement with Chelsea, leaving her shocked and in tears, as he felt ready to move on from their relationship.
Jimmy confessed to Chelsea during their date, ‘I’m deeply in love with you and really want a relationship, but I definitely don’t want to get married. It’s just not something I can do.’
He said they were simplifying a complex situation, but it stemmed from several deeply upsetting issues â around five or six, in fact. One example was Chelsea sharing a private secret about Jimmyâs past relationship with a friend.
After a final, emotional argument about their past relationships, Chelsea broke down in tears and left, saying, âI really thought we had a chance.â
The pair were both single during the March 2024 reunion.

Clay was reluctant to marry because of his fatherâs past infidelity, but AD comforted him, assuring him they could overcome any challenges together, and things seemed good between them.
When it came time for Clay to get married, he unexpectedly said “I don’t.” He explained to AD that getting married when he wasn’t ready wouldn’t be a responsible decision.
Cue the shock.
He told AD he would do the necessary work to figure things out, and they would face it together. He emphasized that he wasnât ready for marriage, regardless of what others might think, and that AD deserved someone who was fully committed. He explained he wouldn’t propose until he could give her his all, and he couldn’t do that right now.
The discovery deeply upset AD, causing her to break down in tears and angrily state that the relationship had been a complete waste of her time.
Clay explained that both financial and emotional connections were major factors in his decision to leave. He confessed, âI had to ask myself if I was still a husband, and the answer was no. I also realized I wasnât truly in love anymore.â
At the reunion, Clay admitted he regretted their breakup and hoped to date AD again, but she didn’t reveal whether she’d be open to trying a relationship again.
AD admitted she went on a few dates with her colleague, Matthew Duliba, after they finished filming, but they are no longer seeing each other.
She announced in May 2025 she’s expecting her first baby with fiancĂ© Ollie Sutherland.

Amy and Johnny were the only couple from season six to get married, and their wedding was beautiful! They also blended their families together wonderfully, with Amy’s father sharing that he now feels like he has several daughters.
As for Johnny, he too declared at his reception that his father-in-law was his ânew dad.â
They are still married.

Brittany and Kenneth’s relationship began passionately, but it didn’t last after they faced the challenges of everyday life.
Brittany explained to Life & Style that things changed after they left the pods and returned to Charlotte. She felt they had a very strong connection while isolated, but that passion faded once they were back in the real world.
Brittany and her former fiancé have stayed friends. At a recent meeting, she explained that even though their romantic relationship ended, they share a connection that will last forever.

Laura and Jeramey’s engagement ended abruptly when Laura discovered Jeramey had spent time with a fellow castmate, Sarah Ann Bick, while they were out. Following a heated argument, Laura ended the relationship.
But instead of that, he went off to ride jet skis with Sarah Ann.Â
At the March 2024 reunion, Jeramey shared that he and Sarah Ann had been casually dating for about a year, starting after the show finished filming, but they are no longer together.
Laura is dating someone else, who she did not identify at the reunion.

Despite overcoming challenges like Izzy’s initial connection with Johnie Maraist and Stacy’s preference for a certain lifestyleâshe didn’t want to use paper platesâStacy ultimately decided not to marry Izzy because he wasn’t truthful about his financial history.
Even though the wedding didn’t happen, Stacy still hoped to continue her relationship with the heartbroken Izzy.
“Weâre at different spots,â he told her. “It really breaks my heart.”
Stacy appreciated Izzy helping her become more open with her feelings, but she wasn’t completely sure about their long-term future. She explained that she needed to be absolutely certain before committing to a lifetime together.
Izzy is now dating surgical assistant Shelby Webb.

The only bright spot from season five dimmed when Lydia revealed on an interview with former castmate AD Smithâs podcast, What’s the Reality, in June 2025 that she was divorcing Milton after less than three years of marriage.
She explained it wasn’t a single event, but rather a series of issues that built up over time. When she told him she would send the divorce papers, he replied that he wouldn’t sign them without a non-disclosure agreement.
She explained that she decided to go public with the news because sheâd been holding it in for too long. She felt it was important to share what sheâd been going through, as staying silent had become unbearable.
Lydia stated that while they were married, other women accused Milton, 26, of flirting excessively and buying them drinks at bars. He denied these claims, but instead of addressing them, he questioned why Lydia would even consider the rumors to be true.

Throughout the season, Paul and Micah seemed drawn to each other despite their differencesâbut things fell apart at their wedding. Micah, noticing Paulâs uncertainty, asked him to speak first, and he ultimately declined to marry her.
âI feel awful,â Micah admitted. âIf Paul had proposed, I definitely would have accepted.â
At the reunion, Paul apologized for a hurtful comment he made privately about not picturing Micah as a mother.
Paul admitted he hadn’t been fair to her when he spoke earlier. He clarified that his real concern is that he doesn’t envision them having children together.
Although they got back together for a short time after filming finished, Paul and Micah eventually split up permanently. Paul said the final breakup happened when he went to visit Micah in Arizona.
On the show After the Altar, Paul shared that he was seeing someone new â a woman who loved to travel and appreciated his cooking. He later publicly confirmed their relationship on Instagram with Geneva Dunham, who works as an eyelash technician.

Even though Kwame’s mother didn’t come to the wedding and he’d had questionable chats with Micah â someone he’d gotten close to during the show â Kwame and Chelsea were still one of the three couples who got married at the end of season four.
At the reunion, Chelsea shared that sheâd finally met her husbandâs mother. Kwame also apologized to his wife and her family for how heâd acted, explaining that his conversations with Micah hadnât been his best moment.
The couple is living in Seattle with their beloved dog Rocky.

Everyone says love is blind, but sometimes it takes a while â or even getting engaged to someone else â to realize youâve made a mistake. Thatâs what happened to Zack, who proposed to Irina Solomonova, but they broke up while on vacation in Mexico.
Despite initial challenges and objections from Blissâs father, the couple reconciled and got married. They immediately celebrated as husband and wife with their first dance to Lee Ann Womackâs “I Hope You Dance” â the same song that brought them together during their time in the pods.
Following the final episode, Zack posted a picture of him and his partner on Instagram, writing “Eternal Bliss” in the caption.
The couple announced in November 2023 that they were having a baby, and welcomed their daughter, Galileo Terri Rayne Goytowski, in April 2024.

It feels like we haven’t seen a Love Is Blind couple with such instant chemistry since Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed back in season one!
Tiffany, 36, and Brett, 37, were the oldest couple in the experiment and still managed to get married, despite a last-minute wardrobe mishap when Brettâs pants didnât fit! A special thanks to the amazing seamstress, Lucia, who saved the day.
Since filming wrapped, Tiffany and Brett moved to Portland and are still perfect! Phew!

After SK said “I don’t” at their wedding, he and Raven seemingly parted ways.
Once the show stopped filming, the ex-couple got back together and announced they were dating again at the season three reunion.
A month later, the couple announced their separation following claims of infidelity by SK. In a joint social media statement in November, SK and Raven explained they couldnât share details due to ongoing legal issues and asked for privacy during this difficult time. They thanked their followers for supporting their relationship.

Viewers were upset when Jackie decided to reconnect with Josh Demas, the man she had a connection with in the pods, before breaking up with Marshall.
During the reunion, Jackie clarified what happened with her relationships. She explained, “I ended things with Marshall before I met Josh at the coffee shop. It might seem like I was unfaithful, but I wasn’t.”
Jackie spoke about her breakup with Marshall, admitting she takes responsibility for her part in what happened. She explained that they simply weren’t a good match for each other.
Jackie and Josh were still a couple and living together when After the Altar finished filming, but she revealed on Instagram Live in September 2023 that they had split up.
Oh my gosh, so Marshall actually talked to Kacia after the show! He told TopMob they did try to connect, but honestly, good for him! He said he just needed to get away from everything after being on the show, and I totally get it. It must have been so intense, and he needed space. I’m glad he prioritized himself, even if it meant not pursuing things with Kacia. He’s so smart!
On the show After the Altar, Marshall shared that heâs been dating Dr. Chay Barnes for a year and hopes to marry her. The couple got engaged in December 2023.
