Love Is Blind UK’s Emma Willis “judged” the show before watching it

Emma Willis, the host of Love Is Blind UK, confessed that when she first learned about the popular Netflix experiment, she wasn’t convinced by its premise.

This dating reality show features a diverse cast who engage in courtship while confined within separate compartments, allowing them only auditory interaction. If one person pops the question and the other accepts, they finally meet in person. Subsequently, they work on strengthening their bond over the following weeks and consider whether to commit permanently by saying “I do”.

In everyday conversation, Emma shared during her chat with TopMob for the Two’s Company video series that she strives to avoid being judgmental since everyone’s decisions reflect their personal choices.

Although I initially formed an opinion about the show without watching it, reading a synopsis made me assume that a marriage would be unlikely due to insufficient understanding of characters. However, the show proved me wrong, demonstrating depth and character development that challenged my initial assumption. In essence, the show taught me a lesson and humbled me.

Matt Willis, a co-host on Emma’s Love Is Blind UK and Emma’s husband, acknowledged that the show’s concept might initially seem intense from an outsider’s perspective. However, as one witnesses the relationships between the couples unfold, this perception can quickly shift.

In simpler terms, he remarked that when love arrives, it overpowers everything else, silencing any doubts or concerns that might linger in one’s mind. When you are truly in love, it feels as if all obstacles are removed, making way for an overwhelming sense of acceptance. This production, I believe, illustrates this beautifully.

Whenever you witness a pair deeply enamored with one another, it’s truly captivating to observe. It almost feels as though I’m saying, “That’s just perfect for the two of them! They’ve definitely got something special going on.

Initially, I found myself questioning your decision to get married so swiftly, be it after six or eight weeks. However, upon closer observation, my sentiment has completely transformed. To me, it seems as if the perfect moment for you both to tie the knot is right here, right now!
