Love Is Blind’s Alexa & Brennon Lemieux Break Up After Welcoming Baby

Alexa Alfia and Brennon Lemieux are entering a new chapter—separately.

After over a year of being parents to their daughter, Vienna Lemieux, and four years of marriage, the stars of Love Is Blind season three have announced their split.

On December 3rd, Alexa announced on Instagram that she and her husband have decided to divorce. She explained that it was a very difficult decision, made after careful consideration and with a lot of love and respect for each other and the years they spent together.

We started our relationship full of love and hope, and we’re ending it with thankfulness for everything we’ve learned and how we’ve both grown. Although we’re getting divorced, we’ll continue to support each other and are fully committed to raising our daughter with kindness and understanding as we move forward.

The 31-year-old, who married Brennon in 2021 at the end of season three of the show, has asked fans to respect their privacy as they move forward in their relationship.

After Alexa and Brennon had their daughter, who is now sixteen months old, they occasionally shared updates about their little family.

Just a few months ago, the former couple shared photos of their Disney Halloween costumes: Alexa dressed as Mickey Mouse, Brennon as Goofy, and Vienna as Minnie Mouse. Vienna hinted at the upcoming holidays in her Instagram post, saying she was excited to decorate for Christmas the very next day.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve followed the story of the LIB cast closely, and it’s been heartbreaking to see so many changes. For one couple in particular, becoming parents was a huge dream for them. After months of trying, they were absolutely overjoyed when they discovered they were expecting – it truly felt like a dream come true after a long journey.

She told People magazine last January that they had been hoping for this moment and were thrilled it finally arrived. She explained that it had been a significant part of her life and, since she’s terrible at keeping secrets, she was excited to finally share the news!

Meanwhile, Brennon shared what he learned through their fertility journey—and love story.

It’s a cliché, but it’s true – the most unexpected things often happen when you’re not even looking for them,” she explained. “That’s exactly how it was with us. I had actually stopped dating, and so had she. We met completely by chance while working on a TV show.

You know, what always gets me about this is the sheer surprise of it all. You really don’t see it coming, and then it does happen. It’s just… genuinely good when that happens, isn’t it? It always feels great.

Ultimately, Anton’s lifestyle and money problems weren’t a good fit for what Ali wanted.

Let’s be real, sometimes love just isn’t enough, and that’s a tough lesson I think we’re seeing play out more and more. I recently heard a story about a woman who actually left her fiancé at the altar. She explained that the man she connected with during their initial, limited interactions – think getting to know someone solely through conversation – was completely different from the person she discovered once they started living in the real world. It’s a reminder that true compatibility needs to be tested beyond initial attraction and shared values, and that getting to know someone in everyday life is crucial. It was heartbreaking, but honestly, it takes courage to admit when a connection isn’t right, even at that late stage.

So, she listened to her intuition.

She explained to the cameras that the experience didn’t meet her expectations and felt off. She also felt he hadn’t been completely honest about his life.

Anton wasn’t sure what went wrong – whether it was a matter of appearances, the overall feeling between them, or simply how they lived their lives together. But he insisted he always acted with care and kindness towards her.

Despite connecting over shared experiences with family members who have Type 1 diabetes, Megan and her fiancé had very different lifestyles – he favored simplicity, while she enjoyed luxury. This ultimately led Megan to end their engagement, as seen in the season nine finale.

“It feels like we’re just passing each other without really connecting,” the entrepreneur explained. But Jordan didn’t understand what he meant, saying, “I don’t get it.”

After Megan mentioned Jordan’s difficult eating habits and how hard it was to work around his travel schedule as a father, he responded by questioning why she had chosen him in the first place when they were getting to know each other.

She admitted she’d hoped their differences would work out, but ultimately had doubts. “Looking back, I realize I never wanted to get married and risk putting either of us in that situation,” she said, and both of them started to cry.

Jordan admitted his biggest regret was letting his son, Luca, meet her. He explained in a private interview that he believes she doesn’t love him for who he is, and that realization is what he needs to move on.

Honestly, hearing Megan talk about going through all of this just breaks my heart. She said it made her actually doubt if she’s a good enough mom, like she wondered if she was too focused on her own stuff to handle it. It’s so raw and real, and it just shows how much this has affected her. I feel so bad for her, seriously.

At their wedding, both Kalybriah and Edmond declared their strong love for each other, but Kalybriah ultimately rejected Edmond’s proposal, offering her apologies.

She told the realtor she needed someone fully committed, and admitted she wasn’t in that place right now. However, she quickly added that saying no didn’t mean she didn’t care for him.

Edmond became emotional, and Kalybriah thanked him for handling the situation with dignity as she explained her difficult decision. When he asked if they might date in the future, Kalybriah reassured him that she wasn’t ruling it out.

“I am shocked,” he said in a confessional of her decision. “There was no bright side.”

Joe and his partner didn’t get married on season nine because Joe ended things after experiencing an emotional crisis while trying on his tuxedo.

Madison recalled to Glamour that Joe presented different sides of himself depending on whether they were filming or not. When the cameras weren’t rolling, he was much more comforting and affectionate, often physically close. But on camera, he acted completely differently, and you can actually see that contrast during the pool party scene.

Madison directly asked Joe if he was attracted to her, and he admitted it had been a problem while they were on vacation.

She explained that she asked him what kind of women he usually dated, and he said he preferred those who were smaller in stature. Despite being confident in herself, she admitted that comment briefly made her feel insecure.

Joe explained that he was clumsily trying to describe a recurring pattern in his dating life, and didn’t intend to compare or judge anyone.

Nick broke up with Annie right before their wedding, telling her he felt upset that she always claimed to love him more than he loved her.

Despite Nick ending the relationship, the hairstylist didn’t accept it and pleaded with him to stay, saying, “Just stay with me and love me.”

“You can’t make one plus one equal three,” he said, prompting her to say, “Watch me.”

Nick finally explained to Annie that he didn’t want to marry her because he wasn’t happy.

Dave and Lauren’s relationship struggled after arriving in Honduras. While they discovered they had friends in common, the real issue stemmed from Dave learning about Lauren having previously been with someone he knew. He found it difficult to move forward after hearing that.

Plus, Dave hadn’t wanted to introduce Lauren to his friends or family. He hadn’t even told his dad about their engagement, and his sister, who would later cause problems, completely disapproved of the relationship.

Oh my gosh, everyone thought Monica and Joey were endgame! Seriously, they were the couple we were all rooting for, totally picturing their wedding and everything after. But then… it just didn’t happen. When it came down to it, Monica actually said she wasn’t ready. I was devastated! It was so unexpected.

She said, tears welling up, that she was completely sure of how she felt, but it seemed like neither she nor Joey was ready. Joey wholeheartedly agreed.

He hugged her and reassured her that everything was alright. He said they clearly cared deeply for each other, but he felt they both needed to focus on personal growth. He admitted he wasn’t ready for a relationship right now, and wasn’t completely sure he would be anytime soon.

Despite having significant differences in beliefs and values, like religion and politics, Ben and Sara appeared to be in agreement as their wedding day approached. However, they eventually made the difficult decision to separate.

Sara, who previously told me she doesn’t see a future with Ben, explained to him, “Ben, I love you very much, but I’ve always envisioned a partner who shares my way of thinking. Because of that, I can’t continue this relationship. I’m truly sorry if that’s not what you wanted to hear.”

She explained that while she feels a strong connection and cares deeply for the other person, their core beliefs are too different for her to move forward. Ultimately, she realized she couldn’t reconcile those differences.

Devin and Virginia appeared to be a happily matched couple, looking forward to their future together after leaving the pods. However, their smooth relationship hit a snag when they started discussing a prenuptial agreement.

Ultimately, more significant problems led Virginia to end her relationship with Devin and decide not to marry him.

After leaving the altar, she explained, through tears, that she often felt the need to shield Devin throughout their relationship. She wasn’t sure if this stemmed from her upbringing, but protecting him was always a priority. This meant avoiding certain sensitive subjects, like politics, and respecting his boundaries, even if it meant they didn’t fully explore all aspects of their connection. Ultimately, they didn’t reach a deeper level of understanding in those areas.

In the end, Daniel and Taylor were the happy couple who decided to commit to a lifetime of love, promising to stay together long after the holiday season ended.

Despite a rocky start – Taylor believed Daniel had briefly unfollowed her on Instagram before they met, suggesting he’d seen her picture – they were able to move past it.

After sharing heartfelt vows, the couple had a wonderful wedding and celebrated with a joyful reception.

“We did it!” Daniel exclaimed, sitting with Taylor after their wedding. Taylor added with a smile, “We can’t wait to start our lives together.”

I was so excited when I heard that the art dealer proposed to the author of Keeping Well! It seemed like a whirlwind romance, especially considering everything with Hannah Jiles. But sadly, after a brief engagement, they both realized they were better suited as friends, and honestly, while I was rooting for them, I respect their decision.

Brittany and Leo realized they didn’t have a romantic connection, as Brittany explained to People magazine. They discussed the possibility of a relationship at the start of their time together, but as things progressed, they both felt a lack of chemistry. Because they communicated well, the realization wasn’t difficult or dramatic—it was a respectful and straightforward understanding between them.

After becoming known from a Netflix dating show, Brittany began dating musician Mod Sun in November 2024. However, she announced their breakup in July 2025.

Monica and Stephen split up after she discovered explicit text messages her fiancé had sent to another woman while they were on vacation in Mexico. Stephen initially apologized on the show, but later posted a message on social media after the episode was broadcast.

In an October 2024 post on Instagram Stories, he expressed regret if his presence bothered anyone, apologizing to those who felt negatively affected by it and even wishing they hadn’t had to start their day. He concluded by saying his feelings for them wouldn’t change.

After leaving the pods, Hannah and Nick experienced plenty of challenges and arguments. Hannah famously said, “I think you get treated as an equal when you start contributing like an equal,” which really summed up a lot of their issues.

Everything fell apart when Hannah realized she didn’t want to marry Nick. He described the split as incredibly painful, calling it one of the worst moments of his life.

Since then, Hannah has admitted the show forced her to do some self-introspection.

She recently shared that she’s realized she has areas for improvement. Speaking on the Viall Files podcast, she explained that while she’s always been straightforward, she’s come to understand that how you say something is just as important as what you say.

Taylor and Garrett instantly connected, feeling like a perfect match – almost as if it was fate. They did experience a bump in the road when Taylor discovered Garrett had responded to a message from a former girlfriend, but he quickly clarified he was engaged and ended the conversation. After that, their relationship blossomed, becoming a memorable part of the Love Is Blind story.

The pair were still married at the Love Is Blind reunion in October 2024.

You’re not mistaken! Marissa and Ramses initially seemed like a strong couple who would go far, but Ramses ultimately decided to cancel their wedding because he had doubts.

After a serious conversation, Marissa happily told her fiancé, “I see a wonderful future with you, and I want to marry you.” He replied, simply, “I know falling in love always carries a risk, and I accept that.”

He pointed out that their disagreements – including differing views on the military – might be too significant to overcome. He explained that, from his own experience and observing other relationships, love isn’t always enough for a marriage to succeed. Other factors need to be compatible as well.

Marissa tried to remain calm, but once she realized the relationship was truly over, she started crying. She told him, “I wish you hadn’t come here,” expressing her confusion and hurt. “I was so certain about us, and you weren’t? It’s awful – I really wanted you to choose me.” She later admitted that this was the worst day of her life.

I was totally rooting for Tyler and Ashley from the start – they seemed so genuinely sweet and their relationship just flowed naturally on screen. But then things got really awkward when Tyler revealed he had three kids. Ashley’s comment about them being ‘sperm donor babies’ was… harsh, to say the least. And honestly, I’ve seen a lot of people online questioning just how involved Tyler actually is as a dad, but he hasn’t said anything about it publicly, which makes the whole situation even more complicated.

By the October 2024 reunion show, Ashley and Tyler had resolved their differences, reconnected, and eventually married.

“These past two months have been incredible and have completely changed our lives,” Tyler shared, sitting with Ashley after their wedding. “And now, we’re so excited to spend the rest of our lives together.”

However, Ashley later shared that the pair had called it quits following over one year of marriage.

In a statement released in January 2025, she announced that she and Tyler have separated and are getting a divorce. She explained that after a lot of thought, they realized they were growing apart and couldn’t continue their marriage, despite hoping they could resolve their differences.

Alex and Tim appeared to resolve their big argument while they were in Mexico, and their relationship seemed stronger than before when they returned to Washington, D.C. Things got even better when Tim had a heartfelt conversation with Alex’s father, suggesting a solid future for them both.

After Alex met Tim’s family, they had another fight, and Tim broke off their engagement, telling Alex he never wanted to speak to her again. Since then, both have publicly shared their sides of the story, with Alex clarifying that the breakup wasn’t a joint decision.

As a longtime fan, it was so heartwarming to see Chelsea and Jimmy finally move past their issues! They had a couple of rough patches throughout the season, but their date at the amusement park, right before the wedding, seemed to really seal the deal. It felt like they genuinely worked things out and were ready to start their lives together.

Jimmy ended his engagement with Chelsea, leaving her shocked and in tears, as he felt it was time to stop their turbulent relationship.

Jimmy confessed to Chelsea during their date, ‘I’m deeply in love with you and really want a relationship, but I definitely don’t want to get married. It’s just not something I can do.’

He said they were simplifying a complex situation, but it stemmed from several deeply upsetting issues – around five or six of them. One example was Chelsea sharing a private secret about Jimmy’s past relationship with a friend.

After one final argument about their past relationships, Chelsea left, crying, and said, “I really thought we had a chance.”

The pair were both single during the March 2024 reunion.

Clay was reluctant to get married because of his father’s past infidelity, but AD comforted him, assuring him they could overcome any challenges together, and things seemed good between them.

However, when it came time to actually get married, Clay surprised AD by saying he wasn’t ready. He explained that it wouldn’t be responsible of him to go through with the wedding when he wasn’t prepared for it.

Cue the shock.

He told AD he would do the necessary work to figure things out, and they would face it together. He emphasized that he wasn’t ready for marriage, and she deserved someone who was. He explained he wouldn’t commit unless he could give her his all, and he wasn’t at that point yet, so he couldn’t say yes to her proposal right now.

I was absolutely stunned when AD finally broke down and, through tears, just declared the whole relationship had been a complete waste of her time. It was raw and heartbreaking to witness, but also felt like a huge weight lifted for her. She’d held on for so long, and finally admitting it felt incredibly powerful, even amidst the tears.

Clay explained that both financial and emotional connections were major factors in his decision to leave. He confessed, “I had to ask myself if I was still a husband, and the answer was no. I also realized I wasn’t truly in love anymore.”

You know, at the recent get-together, Clay was really open about regretting how things went with AD and said he’d like to give it another shot. But AD? She’s playing it cool, leaving him wondering if a reconciliation is even on the table. It’s a classic ‘will they, won’t they’ situation, and honestly, a little mystery can be good!

Okay, so I heard from AD herself that she did go on a few dates with Matthew Duliba after we finished filming – which, honestly, I was kinda rooting for! But she made it clear they aren’t a couple now, so it wasn’t meant to be. Still, it’s fun knowing they at least tried it out!

She announced in May 2025 she’s expecting her first baby with fiancé Ollie Sutherland.

Amy and Johnny were the only couple from season six to get married, and their celebration was beautiful. What made it even more special was how easily their two families came together – Amy’s father even told Johnny’s sister that he now feels like he has several daughters.

As for Johnny, he too declared at his reception that his father-in-law was his “new dad.”

They are still married.

Brittany and Kenneth’s relationship began passionately, but it didn’t last after they faced the challenges of everyday life.

Brittany explained to Life & Style that things changed once she and her partner returned to Charlotte. While they had a very strong connection and were intensely passionate while in the pods, that feeling lessened once they were back in the real world.

Brittany and her former fiancé have stayed friends. At a recent meeting, she explained that even though their romantic relationship ended, they share a connection that will last forever.

Laura and Jeramey broke up after Laura discovered Jeramey had spent time with a fellow castmate, Sarah Ann Bick, while they were out one night. Following a heated argument, Laura ended the relationship.

But instead of that, he went off to ride jet skis with Sarah Ann.

At the reunion in March 2024, Jeramey shared that he and Sarah Ann had been dating on and off for a year, starting after filming wrapped, but they are no longer together.

Laura is dating someone else, who she did not identify at the reunion.

Despite overcoming challenges like Izzy’s initial connection with Johnie Maraist and Stacy’s desire for a certain lifestyle—she didn’t want to use paper plates!—Stacy ultimately ended the relationship because Izzy wasn’t truthful about his financial past.

Even though Stacy didn’t go through with the wedding, she still wanted to stay with Izzy, who was heartbroken.

“We’re at different spots,” he told her. “It really breaks my heart.”

Stacy appreciated Izzy helping her become more open with her feelings, but she wasn’t sure about a long-term future together. She explained that she needed to be completely certain before committing to a lifetime with someone, and she wasn’t quite there yet.

Izzy is now dating surgical assistant Shelby Webb.

The one bright spot of season five dimmed when Lydia revealed on an interview with former castmate AD Smith, on his podcast What’s the Reality, in June 2025, that she was divorcing Milton after less than three years of marriage.

She explained it wasn’t a single event, but rather a build-up of problems. When she told him she’d inform him when the divorce papers were finalized, he replied that he wouldn’t sign them without a non-disclosure agreement.

She explained that she decided to go public with the news because she’d been holding it in for too long. She felt it was important to share what she’d been going through, as keeping it to herself had become overwhelming.

Lydia stated that while they were married, other women accused her husband, Milton, 26, of being overly flirtatious and buying drinks for them at bars. Milton denied these claims, but instead of addressing them, he questioned why Lydia would even consider the rumors to be true.

Throughout the season, Paul and Micah seemed drawn to each other despite their differences—but things fell apart at their wedding. Micah, noticing Paul’s uncertainty, asked him to go first, and he ultimately declined to get married.

Micah confessed she felt terrible, saying she would have definitely married Paul if he’d asked.

At the reunion, Paul apologized for a hurtful comment he’d made privately about Micah not seeming suited to be a mother.

Paul admitted he hadn’t been fair to her when he spoke earlier. He clarified that his real concern is he doesn’t believe they’re compatible as parents.

Although they got back together for a short time after filming finished, Paul and Micah couldn’t maintain their relationship. Paul said they finally split up when he went to visit Micah in Arizona.

On the show After the Altar, Paul shared that he was seeing someone new—a woman who loves to travel and appreciates his cooking. He later publicly confirmed their relationship on Instagram with Geneva Dunham, who works as an eyelash technician.

Even though Kwame’s mother didn’t come to the wedding and he had some questionable chats with Micah – someone he also met while dating – Kwame and Chelsea were still one of the three couples who got married at the end of the fourth season.

Okay, so at the reunion, Chelsea finally got to meet her husband’s mom – I was SO excited for her! And Kwame… well, he actually apologized to his wife and her family, which was good to see. He said those conversations he had with Micah weren’t his best moment, and honestly, that’s an understatement! I’m just glad he took responsibility, even if it was a little late.

The couple is living in Seattle with their beloved dog Rocky.

It’s often said that love is blind, but sometimes it takes time – or even getting engaged to someone else – to realize you’ve made a mistake. This happened to Zack, who initially proposed to Irina Solomonova, but they broke up while on vacation in Mexico.

Despite initial challenges and objections from Bliss’ father, the couple reconciled and got married. They immediately celebrated as husband and wife, sharing their first dance to Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance” – the song that had brought them together during their time in the pods.

Following the final episode, Zack posted a picture of him and his partner on Instagram, writing “Eternal Bliss” in the caption.

The couple announced in November 2023 they were expecting a baby, and in April 2024, they welcomed their daughter, Galileo Terri Rayne Goytowski.

It feels like we haven’t seen a Love Is Blind couple with such instant chemistry since Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed in season one!

Oh my gosh, Tiffany and Brett, the sweetest couple, actually GOT MARRIED! I was seriously tearing up. It was so perfect, even though Brett had a little wardrobe malfunction – his pants were too tight! Can you believe it? Thankfully, Lucia, that amazing seamstress, totally saved the day! She’s a lifesaver, honestly. It just made their vows even more adorable, seeing them overcome that little hiccup. They’re just the cutest!

Since filming wrapped, Tiffany and Brett moved to Portland and are still perfect! Phew!

After SK said “I don’t” at their wedding, he and Raven seemingly parted ways.

Once the show stopped filming, the ex-couple surprised everyone by getting back together, and they announced they were dating again during the season three reunion show.

A month later, the couple announced their separation following accusations of infidelity against SK. In a joint social media statement released in November, SK and Raven explained they couldn’t share further details due to ongoing legal issues related to the allegations, and asked for privacy during this difficult time. They thanked their followers for supporting their relationship.

Viewers were shocked and disappointed when Jackie decided to reconnect with Josh Demas, the man she’d also formed a connection with in the pods, before officially breaking up with her fiancé, Marshall.

During the reunion, Jackie clarified what happened with her relationships. She explained, “I ended things with Marshall before I met Josh at the coffee shop. It might look like I was unfaithful, but I wasn’t.”

Jackie spoke about her breakup with Marshall, admitting she takes responsibility for her part in what happened. She explained that they simply weren’t a good match for each other.

Jackie and Josh were still a couple and living together at the end of After the Altar. However, she revealed on Instagram Live in September 2023 that they had since split up.

Marshall shared with TopMob that he and fellow contestant Kacia Clark briefly attempted a connection after the show ended. However, he decided he needed to create distance from the whole experience.

On the show After the Altar, Marshall shared that he’s been dating Dr. Chay Barnes for a year and hopes to marry her. They got engaged in December 2023.
