Love Is Blind’s Alexa Lemieux Blames Brennon Lemieux for Their Divorce

Alexa Lemieux is firing back.

According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly on December 8th, Love Is Blind star Colleen Reed responded to her husband, Brennon Lemieux‘s, divorce filing by claiming he was the cause of their separation.

Alexa, who married Brennon in 2021 after meeting on the Netflix show they both filmed, is asking for a larger share of their assets in the divorce. According to court documents, she claims Brennon was responsible for the split.

The reality TV star, who has a 16-month-old daughter named Vienna with Brennon, is asking for more financial support. She claims she’ll need help with future expenses and legal fees, and alleges Brennon has been irresponsible with their shared money, according to Us Weekly.

I noticed in the legal documents that Alexa specifically requested confirmation that any assets she brought into the marriage remain solely hers. It’s important to me that her separate property stays protected and is clearly designated as belonging only to her moving forward.

TopMob News reached out to reps for Alexa and Brennon for comment but has not heard back.

Just weeks before Alexa filed for divorce, her husband, Brennon, submitted his own petition. According to documents obtained by Us Weekly on December 3rd, he cited irreconcilable differences and personality clashes as reasons the marriage couldn’t be saved.

The filing states he also asked the court to return any property he owned before the marriage to him.

Although Alexa, 31, and Brennon, 35, disagree about the reasons their relationship ended, they both agree on prioritizing their daughter and want to co-parent together harmoniously.

I was really saddened to see Alexa announce her separation on Instagram recently. She shared that while she and her husband are no longer together as a couple, they still care deeply for each other and are fully focused on being great parents to their daughter. It sounds like they’re committed to handling this difficult time with kindness and respect, and honestly, that’s all anyone can ask for.

We started our relationship with love and hope, and now we’re ending it with thankfulness for everything we learned and how we both grew as people.

Okay, so I need to know which couples from Love Is Blind actually stayed together after leaving those pods! I’ve been following everyone so closely, and I just have to find out who made it and who…didn’t. Let me tell you, I’m obsessed with seeing who found lasting love!

Ultimately, Anton’s lifestyle and money problems weren’t a good fit for what Ali wanted.

She told the truck driver, right at the altar, that she couldn’t marry him. She explained that the man she’d connected with while they were only able to talk wasn’t the same person she’d gotten to know after meeting in person.

So, she listened to her intuition.

It just didn’t feel authentic or how I imagined it would,” she explained. “I didn’t get the sense he was completely honest about his life.

Anton admitted he wasn’t sure what went wrong – whether it was a matter of appearances, the overall feeling between them, or simply how they lived their lives. However, he insisted he always cared for her deeply.

Despite finding common ground through shared experiences with family members who have Type 1 diabetes, Megan and her fiancé had very different approaches to life – he favored simplicity, while she enjoyed luxury. These contrasting lifestyles ultimately led Megan to end their engagement, as seen in the season nine finale.

“We’re just passing each other without really connecting, like strangers,” the entrepreneur explained. But Jordan didn’t understand what he meant, saying, “I don’t get it.”

After Megan mentioned Jordan’s fussy eating and difficult travel commitments as a father, he responded by questioning why she had chosen him in the first place when they were dating in the pods.

She admitted she’d initially thought their differences could work, but she still had doubts. “Looking back now, I realize I never wanted to get married and put either of us through that,” she said, and both of them started to cry.

Jordan admitted his biggest regret was letting his son, Luca, meet her. He explained that he feels she doesn’t love him for who he is, and realizing that is what he needs to move on.

Megan shared that the difficult experience made her doubt her abilities as a mother, wondering if she was too focused on her own needs.

At their wedding, both Kalybriah and Edmond declared their strong love for each other, but Kalybriah ultimately rejected Edmond’s proposal, offering her apologies.

She told the realtor she needed someone who was fully committed, and she didn’t feel ready for that level of commitment herself. However, she also wanted him to know that saying no didn’t mean she didn’t care about him.

Edmond was upset and started crying, but Kalybriah thanked him for handling the situation with dignity as she explained her difficult decision. When he asked if they might date in the future, Kalybriah reassured him that she wasn’t ruling it out.

“I am shocked,” he said in a confessional of her decision. “There was no bright side.”

Joe and his partner didn’t get married on season nine because Joe ended things after an emotional breakdown while trying on his tuxedo.

Madison recalled to Glamour that Joe presented two distinct sides of himself – one off-camera, where he was comforting and affectionate, and another on camera, which was much more reserved. She noted this contrast was particularly noticeable during the pool party scene.

Madison directly asked Joe if he was attracted to her, and he admitted it had been a problem while they were on vacation.

She explained that she asked him what kind of women he usually dated, and he said he preferred ‘more petite women.’ Although she generally feels confident, his answer briefly made her feel insecure.

Joe explained that he was clumsily trying to describe a recurring pattern in his past relationships, and didn’t intend to compare or judge anyone.

Nick broke up with Annie right before their wedding, telling her he felt upset that she always claimed to love him more than he loved her.

Despite Nick ending the relationship, the hairstylist didn’t accept it and pleaded with him to stay, saying, “Just stay with me and love me.”

“You can’t make one plus one equal three,” he said, prompting her to say, “Watch me.”

Nick finally told Annie he wasn’t willing to marry her because he was unhappy.

Dave and his fiancée’s relationship started to fall apart after they arrived in Honduras. While they discovered they had friends in common, that wasn’t the main issue. Dave struggled to move past learning that Lauren had previously been with someone they both knew before filming the show.

Plus, Dave hadn’t wanted to introduce Lauren to his friends or family. He hadn’t even told his dad about their engagement, and his sister, who would later cause a lot of problems, didn’t approve of the relationship at all.

Many viewers thought Monica and Joey were a perfect match and expected them to get married. Instead, when the time came, Monica decided she wasn’t ready for marriage just yet.

She said, crying, that she was completely sure of how she felt, but believed both she and the other person weren’t fully ready. Joey wholeheartedly agreed.

He hugged her and reassured her that everything was alright. He said they clearly cared for each other deeply, but he felt they both needed to focus on personal growth right now. He admitted he wasn’t ready for a relationship, and wasn’t sure he was even close at the moment.

Despite having significant differences in beliefs and values, like religion and politics, Ben and Sara appeared to have found common ground by the time of their wedding. However, they eventually realized they weren’t compatible and decided to separate.

Okay, so I was talking to Sara, and she needed to have a really tough conversation with Ben. She told him she cares about him deeply, but she’s realized they just aren’t aligned in what they both want for the future. It was heartbreaking for her to say, but she wanted to be clear – she doesn’t see a long-term partnership working for them, and she wanted to make sure he understood that wasn’t a reflection on him as a person, just that they’re not a good fit together.

She explained that while she feels a strong connection and cares deeply for the other person, she ultimately couldn’t move forward because their core beliefs didn’t align with her own.

Devin and Virginia appeared to be a strong couple, looking forward to their future together after the pods. However, their relationship hit a snag when they started discussing a prenuptial agreement.

Ultimately, more significant problems led Virginia to end her relationship with Devin and decide against spending her life with him.

After leaving the altar, she explained, with tears in her eyes, that she often felt the need to shield Devin throughout their relationship. She wasn’t sure if this stemmed from her upbringing, but protecting him was always a priority. This meant avoiding certain sensitive subjects, like politics, or anything he didn’t want to discuss. As a result, they never fully explored deeper aspects of their connection and didn’t reach a true understanding of each other.

In the end, Daniel and Taylor were the happy couple who decided to commit to a lifetime of love, promising to stay together long after the holiday season ended.

Despite a rocky start – Taylor thought Daniel had been checking her Instagram and knew what she looked like before they met – they were able to move past it.

After sharing heartfelt vows, the couple had a lovely wedding and a joyful reception.

“We did it!” Daniel exclaimed, sitting with Taylor after their wedding. “We’re so excited to begin our lives together,” Taylor added.

The art dealer, now well-known in his field, proposed to the author of Keeping Well after a complicated relationship involving Hannah Jiles. However, they eventually realized they were better suited as friends and called off their brief engagement.

Okay, so I’ve been following Brittany and Leo so closely, and apparently, things just didn’t click between them, even though everyone was hoping they would! Brittany actually told People magazine that they talked about how a relationship could work at the start of their trip, but as time went on, the spark just wasn’t there. It wasn’t messy or dramatic at all, thankfully! They’re both really good at talking things out, so they realized it wasn’t meant to be in a really respectful and calm way. Honestly, it’s a little sad, but at least they handled it so maturely, you know? I just wish things had worked out!

After becoming known on a Netflix dating show, Brittany started dating musician Mod Sun in November 2024. However, she announced their breakup in July 2025.

Monica and Stephen split up after she found explicit text messages between her fiancé and another woman while they were still on vacation in Mexico. Stephen initially apologized on the show, but later posted a message on social media after the episode was broadcast.

In an October 2024 post on Instagram Stories, he expressed regret if his presence bothered anyone, apologizing and saying he wished those affected hadn’t had to start their day. He added that he still cared for them regardless.

After leaving the pods, Hannah and Nick experienced plenty of challenges and arguments. Hannah famously stated, “I think you’re treated as an equal when you start contributing like one.”

Everything fell apart when Hannah ended the relationship, deciding she didn’t want to get married. Nick described the split as incredibly painful, calling it one of the worst moments of his life.

Since then, Hannah has admitted the show forced her to do some self-introspection.

Okay, so I was listening to her on The Viall Files – seriously, I hang on every word – and she was SO self-aware! She admitted she’s still growing, which I already knew she was amazing at, but she pinpointed something really interesting. She said she’s always been super direct, which, honestly, is one of the things I love about her, but she’s realized how she says things matters just as much as what she says. She basically said delivery is everything, and I totally get it! It’s like, she’s already incredible, but she’s constantly working to be even better, and it just makes me adore her even more.

Taylor and Garrett instantly connected, and it felt like they were meant to be together – a perfect match! They did have one difficult moment when Taylor discovered Garrett had responded to a message from a former girlfriend, but he quickly clarified he was engaged and ended the conversation. After that, their relationship blossomed, becoming a memorable part of the Love Is Blind story.

The pair were still married at the Love Is Blind reunion in October 2024.

You won’t believe this, but despite being a strong couple and early favorites to succeed, Ramses ended things with Marissa by calling off their wedding after he started having doubts.

After a heartfelt conversation, Marissa excitedly told her fiancé, “I see a wonderful future with you, and I want to marry you.” He replied, simply, “I know falling in love always carries a risk, and I accept that.”

He acknowledged that their disagreements—like their differing views on the military—could be too significant to overcome. He explained that, based on his own marriage and observing others, love isn’t always enough for a relationship to succeed. He believes other factors need to be compatible as well.

Let me tell you, witnessing Marissa process that breakup was heartbreaking. She really tried to stay strong and see things from his side, but once she knew it was truly over, the tears just came. She was incredibly vulnerable, telling him she wished he hadn’t even come on the show, questioning how she could feel so certain while he didn’t. It was raw and honest – she admitted she just wanted him to choose her, and confessed it felt like the absolute worst day of her life. It’s a tough reminder that even when you think you’re prepared, breakups can still hit you incredibly hard.

Tyler and Ashley were a popular couple on the show, and viewers enjoyed watching their seemingly relaxed relationship develop. Things became complicated when Tyler revealed he had three children, a revelation Ashley referred to unkindly as ‘sperm donor babies.’ Online, people are debating the extent of Tyler’s relationship with his children, but he hasn’t spoken publicly about it.

By the October 2024 reunion show, Ashley and Tyler had resolved their differences, reconnected, and ultimately got married.

“These past two months have been life-changing,” Tyler shared as he and Ashley sat together after their wedding. “And now, we’re excited to begin the rest of our lives as husband and wife.”

However, Ashley later shared that the pair had called it quits following over one year of marriage.

In a statement released in January 2025, she announced that she and Tyler have separated and are divorcing. She explained that despite her hopes for open communication and understanding, they’ve grown apart and can no longer continue their marriage.

Alex and Tim appeared to resolve their big disagreement during their trip to Mexico, and their relationship seemed stronger than ever when they returned to Washington, D.C. Things got even better when Tim had a heartfelt conversation with Alex’s father, suggesting a solid future for them both.

After Alex met Tim’s family, they had another fight, and Tim broke off their engagement, telling Alex he never wanted to see her again. Since then, both Alex and Tim have publicly shared their sides of the story, with Alex clarifying that the breakup wasn’t a joint decision.

Chelsea and Jimmy had a rocky start to the season with some arguments, but it seemed they finally resolved their differences on a fun date at an amusement park just before their wedding.

Jimmy ended his engagement with Chelsea, leaving her shocked and in tears, as he felt it was time to stop their turbulent relationship.

Jimmy confessed to Chelsea during their date, “I’m deeply in love with you and really want a relationship, but I don’t see marriage in our future. I just can’t commit to that.”

He said they were simplifying a complex situation, which had previously involved five or six major, personally upsetting issues. One of those issues was Chelsea revealing Jimmy’s secret about a past relationship with a friend.

After a final, emotional argument about their past relationships, Chelsea broke down in tears and left, saying, “I really thought we had a chance.”

The pair were both single during the March 2024 reunion.

Clay was worried about getting married because of his father’s past, but AD comforted him, assuring him they could overcome any challenges together, and things seemed good between them.

However, when it came time to actually get married, Clay unexpectedly said he wouldn’t go through with it. He told AD that marrying her wouldn’t be a responsible decision because he wasn’t prepared for that commitment.

Cue the shock.

He told AD he would do the necessary work to figure things out, and they would face it together. He admitted he wasn’t ready for marriage and wanted AD to have everything she deserved. He explained he wouldn’t commit to marriage until he was fully prepared to give her his all, and he couldn’t give her an answer right now.

The discovery deeply upset AD, causing her to break down in tears and angrily state that the relationship had been a complete waste of her time.

Clay explained that both financial and emotional connections were major factors in his decision to leave. He honestly admitted, “I had to ask myself if I was still a husband, and the answer was no. I also realized I wasn’t truly in love anymore.”

At the reunion, Clay admitted he regretted their breakup and hoped to date AD again, but she didn’t reveal whether she’d be open to trying a relationship again.

AD admitted she did go on a few dates with her coworker, Matthew Duliba, once filming ended, but they are no longer dating.

She announced in May 2025 she’s expecting her first baby with fiancé Ollie Sutherland.

Amy and Johnny were the only couple from season six to get married, and their celebration was beautiful! They also blended their families together wonderfully, with Amy’s father sharing that he now feels like he has several daughters.

As for Johnny, he too declared at his reception that his father-in-law was his “new dad.”

They are still married.

Brittany and Kenneth’s relationship began with a lot of excitement, but it didn’t last after they went back to their everyday lives.

Brittany explained to Life & Style that things changed after they left the pods and returned to Charlotte. She felt they had a very strong connection while isolated, but that passion faded once they were back in the real world.

Brittany and her former fiancé have stayed friends. At a recent get-together, she explained that even though their romantic relationship ended, they share a connection that will last forever.

Laura and Jeramey broke up after Laura discovered Jeramey had spent time with a fellow castmate, Sarah Ann Bick, while they were out one night. Following a heated argument, Laura ended the relationship.

But instead of that, he went off to ride jet skis with Sarah Ann.

At the March 2024 reunion, Jeramey shared that he and Sarah Ann had been casually dating for about a year after the show finished filming, but they are no longer together.

Laura is dating someone else, who she did not identify at the reunion.

Despite overcoming challenges like Izzy’s initial connection with Johnie Maraist and Stacy’s insistence on a certain lifestyle (she didn’t want to use paper plates!), Stacy ultimately decided not to marry Izzy because he wasn’t truthful about his financial history.

Even though Stacy didn’t go through with the wedding, she still wanted to stay with the heartbroken Izzy.

“We’re at different spots,” he told her. “It really breaks my heart.”

Stacy appreciated Izzy helping her become more open with her feelings, but she wasn’t completely sure about a long-term future together. She said she needed to be absolutely certain before committing to a lifetime with someone, and she wasn’t there yet.

Izzy is now dating surgical assistant Shelby Webb.

The only bright spot from season five dimmed when Lydia revealed in June 2025, during an appearance on fellow cast member AD Smith’s podcast, What’s the Reality, that she was divorcing Milton after less than three years of marriage.

She explained it wasn’t a single event, but rather a build-up of issues over time. When she told him she’d inform him when the divorce papers were finalized, he replied that he wouldn’t sign them without a non-disclosure agreement.

She explained that she decided to go public with the news because she had been holding it in for too long. She felt it was important to share what she’d been going through, as staying silent had become unbearable.

Lydia stated that while they were married, other women accused Milton, 26, of flirting excessively and buying them drinks at bars. He denied these claims, but instead of addressing them, he questioned why Lydia would even consider the rumors to be true.

Throughout the season, Paul and Micah seemed drawn to each other despite their differences. However, at the wedding, Paul revealed he wasn’t ready for marriage after Micah asked him to go first, ultimately declining to marry her.

“I feel terrible,” Micah admitted. “If Paul had proposed, I would have definitely said yes.”

At the reunion, Paul apologized for a hurtful remark he’d made previously, where he said he couldn’t picture Micah as a mother.

Paul admitted he hadn’t been fair to her when he spoke earlier. He clarified that his real concern is that he doesn’t envision them having children together.

Although they got back together for a short time after finishing the show, Paul and Micah eventually split up permanently. Paul said the final breakup happened when he went to visit Micah in Arizona.

On the show After the Altar, Paul shared that he was seeing someone new—a woman who loved to travel and appreciated his cooking. He later publicly confirmed their relationship on Instagram with Geneva Dunham, who works as an eyelash technician.

Even though Kwame’s mother didn’t come to the wedding and he had some questionable conversations with Micah – someone he also met while dating – Kwame and Chelsea were still one of the three couples who got married at the end of the fourth season.

At the reunion, Chelsea shared that she’d finally met her husband’s mother. Kwame also apologized to his wife and her family for how he acted, explaining that his conversations with Micah hadn’t been his best moment.

The couple is living in Seattle with their beloved dog Rocky.

It’s often said that love can make you overlook flaws, but sometimes it takes time—or even getting engaged to someone else—to realize you’ve made a mistake. That’s what happened to Zack, who proposed to Irina Solomonova, but they ended their engagement while on vacation in Mexico.

Despite initial challenges and objections from Bliss’ father, the couple reconciled and got married. They immediately celebrated as husband and wife with their first dance to Lee Ann Womack’s “I Hope You Dance” – the song that first brought them together while in the pods.

Following the final episode, Zack posted a picture of him and his partner on Instagram, writing “Eternal Bliss” in the caption.

The couple announced in November 2023 that they were having a baby, and in April 2024, they welcomed their daughter, Galileo Terri Rayne Goytowski.

Honestly, I haven’t been this excited about a Love Is Blind couple since Cameron and Lauren in season one! They just seemed so perfectly matched, and this new pairing gives me the same feeling.

Tiffany, 36, and Brett, 37, were the oldest couple in the experiment and still managed to get married, despite a last-minute wardrobe mishap when Brett’s pants didn’t fit! A big thanks to seamstress Lucia for saving the day!

Since filming wrapped, Tiffany and Brett moved to Portland and are still perfect! Phew!

After SK said “I don’t” at their wedding, he and Raven seemingly parted ways.

Once the show stopped filming, the ex-couple got back together and announced they were dating again at the season three reunion.

A month later, the couple announced their separation following accusations of infidelity against SK. In a joint social media statement released in November, SK and Raven explained they couldn’t share details due to ongoing legal issues related to the allegations, and asked for privacy during this difficult time. They thanked their followers for supporting their relationship.

Viewers were upset when Jackie decided to reconnect with Josh Demas, whom she’d also formed a connection with in the pods, before officially ending things with Marshall.

During the reunion, Jackie clarified what happened with her relationships. She explained, “I ended things with Marshall before I even met Josh at the coffee shop. It might seem like I was unfaithful, but I wasn’t.”

Jackie explained that she takes responsibility for her part in the breakup with Marshall, stating simply, “We just weren’t a good match.”

Jackie and Josh were still a couple and living together during the After the Altar series, but she revealed on Instagram Live in September 2023 that they had split up.

Marshall mentioned to TopMob that he and fellow contestant Kacia Clark connected briefly after the show ended. However, he decided to create some space for himself following the experience, and they didn’t pursue anything further.

On the show After the Altar, Marshall shared that he’s been dating Dr. Chay Barnes for a year and hopes to marry her. The couple got engaged in December 2023.
