Connor Newsum and Carmen Kocourek are officially coupled up.
In a playful move on social media, an ex-contestant from Love Island USA’s sixth season publicly started dating someone from the fifth season.
Connor, who will be appearing on ‘Love Island: Beyond the Villa’ following his elimination during the season, titled a July 3 Instagram post featuring several photos of them together as ‘A new chapter,’ hinting at their close relationship in the images.
Beneath Connor’s post, Carmen also expressed her joy by subtly paying homage to him in her unique way.
She posted on Instagram, just a short while ago, ‘Two-person gathering,’ accompanied by a picture showing them affectionately together, locking lips.
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but share the joy and excitement rippling among my fellow “Love Island” alums, now that our friends have courageously brought their connection into the open. It’s heartwarming to see them finding love beyond the villa walls.
In the realm of my personal insights as a lifestyle connoisseur, I find myself reminiscing about the engaging dynamics between characters in our beloved series. To be specific, during season six, Olivia “Liv” Walker couldn’t help but express her feelings with an endearing exclamation under Connor’s post. Meanwhile, their fellow cast member, Aaron Evans, playfully referred to him as “Dad Rizz.” A delightful exchange that truly highlights the camaraderie and chemistry among these talented individuals.
Regarding Carmen’s co-stars, Johnnie Olivia expressed, “She is absolutely breathtaking,” and Leslie Golden exclaimed, “Oh, so adorable!
One year following the breakup of Connor and Carmen, which occurred after they placed fourth in their season, comes a significant announcement from them. Previously, Carmen, who made her grand entrance during season five as a bombshell, was in a relationship with Kenzo Nudo.
Last July, Carmen shared on her Instagram Stories, “Given that all of you have been part of this journey with me, I believe it’s only fair to inform you that Kenzo and I are no longer a couple. Our goals and life paths have diverged.

For his part, Kenzo made it clear that there was no bad blood between the two.
I believe you’re aware that Carmen and I parted ways, yet we continue to be friends. We hold nothing but affection for one another, value each other deeply. However, our lives and aspirations were distinct, and we sought different paths.
