Love Island USA’s Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez Break Up

Another Love Island USA connection is coming to an end.

Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez, who finished fourth in season seven of the Peacock dating show back in July, are no longer together.

“We’re not together anymore,” he told TMZ Aug. 28, “andthat’s the way it goes.”

Pepe suggested the public attention played a part in the split.

Pepe expressed that it can be quite challenging, even overwhelming, to have constant scrutiny day and night. He added that this intense spotlight brings a lot of stress and being in the public eye doesn’t always yield the best experiences.

As a dedicated follower of my sport, I am happy to clarify the recent online rumors about me cheating in basketball. However, let me make it clear that such allegations do not faze me in the least. In truth, I choose to ignore any negative sentiment or hate directed at me, and my attitude remains unwavering: “I don’t care what people think.

Instead, Pepe decided to focus on other pursuits first – such as a basketball match with Justin Bieber scheduled for August 28.

He explained that he’s currently concentrating on upcoming possibilities, enjoyable endeavors, and new experiences he desires to have.

Before officially parting ways, observant fans noted that Iris (age 25) and Pepe (age 27) no longer mutual-followed on Instagram. Additionally, the tattoo artist, who is Iris, had deleted all pictures of her former partner from her social media profile.

Although there were mysterious hints on social media, the two individuals who developed romantic feelings for each other during the competition’s final days did not clarify their relationship status before the season seven reunion on August 25. However, during the pre-recorded special, they suggested that their relationship was progressing further.

He mentioned during the episode that we’ve talked about our perspectives on dating, and it turns out that our ideas differ significantly.

As for me, deeply immersed in the conversation about love, Pepe clarified that his notion of a romantic involvement primarily revolved around exclusivity. Yet, Iris, with a hint of persistence, maintained her viewpoint that this journey should be embellished with some structured formalities.

She admitted to Ariana Madix that it seemed necessary for her to propose the idea of becoming girlfriends with Pepe, as they were moving forward positively.

Additionally, it’s unfortunate to note that Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales, the season seven winners, also decided to separate from each other a day prior to this.

Following our departure from the villa, it became evident that we were embarking on separate paths.” Amaya, 25, expressed in an Instagram post. “Our goals weren’t aligned and relationships should be like a team where everyone works together. You don’t need to taste every drop of ocean water to know it’s salty.

Speaking as a lifestyle guide, I’d say, “I, much like Bryan, found a valuable realization during my latest exploration – Amaya and I are currently walking separate paths.” We both gained a clear understanding of our unique journeys while away from the usual hustle and bustle.

He expressed gratitude for the time they’d shared on Instagram Stories, and wished her only good things as she moved ahead.

In 2018, the participants from Love Island UK’s fourth season departed the villa as a couple, but their relationship didn’t last much longer following their return from Mallorca. Since then, they’ve each followed their own paths.

In July 2025, Ellie made it known that she was engaged to her unnamed boyfriend, who they’ve been in a relationship with for a year since it first became public knowledge.

The pair initially crossed paths during Love Island UK’s eleventh season. Subsequently, Uma parted ways on day 37 along with Wil, who was removed from the island following his elimination after being selected by Reuben Collins.

In the month of July, 2025, exactly a year since their separation, Uma disclosed on Instagram, where she showcased her ring, that she and Wil were now engaged. She conveyed, in a playful manner, “We’ve been concealing some exciting news.

For the reality star, staying on Love Island after Wil’s exit didn’t seem like an option.

She stated that there wasn’t an ounce of doubt, as she never had to deliberate over it, regarding her choice discussed on the Not My Bagg podcast. Her preference was clear – she wanted to be with Wil.

She shared with hosts Lisa and Joe that she had developed a relationship with another person. It takes her a considerable amount of time to feel as close to someone as she was with Wil, but with only two weeks remaining, she didn’t want to feign a new connection or pretend. Instead, she chose to be truthful about her feelings.

Amaya and Bryan fueled breakup speculation when they stopped following each other on Instagram just prior to the airing of the season seven reunion in August 2025. Regrettably, two days after that, the self-proclaimed sensitive rapper officially announced their split.

In her Instagram post, she expressed that after departing from the villa, it was evident we were embarking on separate paths since our goals weren’t in sync and partnerships should ideally function like a team. Just as you don’t need to drink the entire ocean to know it’s salty, one doesn’t have to experience everything together to understand that things aren’t aligned.

In this reality show, it was only Olandria and Nic who started on day one and reached the finale. They kept viewers guessing as they delved into other connections and frequently switched between being friends and reconnecting romantically.

During the finale, Olandria expressed that a strong foundation for any relationship lies in friendship without expectations or pressure, allowing individuals to get to know each other gradually. As the journey progressed, she recognized that the person who stood by her through all the challenges might be the one she was destined to find.

Meanwhile, the runners-up couldn’t help but ponder if they were meant for each other from the beginning. Nic admitted that the essence of their relationship came from missing those signs. Initially involved with other connections, Nic confessed to harboring feelings for Olandria all along. As they navigated various obstacles throughout the experience, they found themselves lost and confused, even temporarily leaving the villa. However, a sign emerged on their life’s highway when they were given the chance to rekindle their relationship and build a bond that they didn’t know existed before.

So, what lies ahead for #NicOlandria? That remains to be seen.

Nic mentioned during the reunion that they value patience and letting their feelings guide their relationship rather than external pressures. He added that they enjoy spending time together, taking trips, and have already scheduled future dates.

In simpler terms, it wasn’t until late in the season that Iris and Pepe developed romantic feelings for each other. However, they found that this later start allowed them to establish a relationship based on friendship first. During the finale, Iris expressed her excitement about their connection growing beyond the show into real life. The couple finished in fourth place and were open about their exclusivity at the reunion. However, some rumors of a split emerged prior to the episode due to Iris and Pepe unfollowing each other on Instagram.

Among Kordell and Serena’s many long-term goals? Sticking together.

And the Love Island USA season six winners are still very much in love.

On Kordell’s birthday in May 2025, Serena posted on Instagram: ‘Wishing a most joyful birthday to my ideal man! A year has passed and I still can’t believe how captivated I remain by you. Watching your dreams unfold in reality is truly amazing, and I am incredibly proud of the person you are becoming day by day. I eagerly look forward to celebrating more birthdays with you! Thank you for being an exceptional boyfriend, partner, friend, and for making me the happiest girl around.’

The long-lasting duo from Love Island USA’s sixth season, Leah and Miguel, continue their relationship, with Miguel expressing that each day just gets better for them. Unsurprisingly, Leah concurs.

In March 2025, Leah posted on Instagram for Miguel’s birthday: “You’re always a burst of sunshine, and I can’t help but feel that! I’ll forever be thankful for your arrival in my life, as you’ve brought nothing but love, serenity, joy, security, and unadulterated happiness. Even the most mundane tasks like watching paint dry became enjoyable with you around. I couldn’t have imagined a better man myself, I thought gentlemen like you were just myths or characters from films. Your soul is as pure as they come, with intentions that are kind towards everything and everyone.

In the year 2024, during the sixth season of Love Island USA, JaNa and Kenny placed third. Unfortunately, their relationship didn’t last, as they parted ways in July 2025, after spending a year together. This separation was confirmed by a source to TopMob News.

The news came as a shock to fans, who adored their sweet tributes to one another online.

For your birthday in December 2024, he expressed his love on Instagram with the words, ‘My Dear Pookie Bear, My Love, My Heart, My Nay Nay.’ It’s been a privilege to be by your side these past few months and witness you conquering the world.

Every time I see you enter a space, it’s like sunshine bursting in – your smile truly illuminates everywhere you go,” I exclaim. “Even under the glare of the limelight, you manage to make people feel valued, cherished, and adored. It’s remarkable how your inner beauty mirrors your outer charm, leaving me utterly spellbound whenever I catch sight of you. Truly, I count myself among the fortunate for having you in my world.

In February 2025, Jana was invited by Kenny for his birthday, writing: “You’re not just my best friend; you’re my sanctuary. It’s amazing to live life with you. Your love provides me the courage to be myself and I will always be grateful for that.

All Stars in 2024, also finishing third together.

Back in February, I penned down, “Just the start!” on my Instagram. I can’t express enough gratitude to each one of you who’ve stood by us throughout our incredible journey – it truly feels like you’re making this world spin for us!

And she was correct that it was only the start of their forever journey.

In March 2025, Josh posted on Instagram saying, “Happy one-year anniversary to us! I still can’t believe you’ve stuck around for so long. Here’s to many more years of this-I hope you know what you’re getting into. Love you forever.

In the heat of summer 2021, yours truly, a die-hard fan, bore witness to the breathtaking continuation of the romantic tale spun by the victors of Love Island UK’s seventh season! Having weathered the trials of Casa Amor, they bravely brought their love from the confines of the villa into the broader realm of reality.

In July 2022, they publicly ended their relationship on social media platforms. However, just about a year later, they managed to reconcile. Currently, Millie and Liam are still together and frequently share updates about their adventures, fitness routines, and dates via social media, as well as on their joint podcast.

During the second season of “Love Island USA,” broadcasted during summer 2020, the couple fell in love. However, they revealed their separation in January that followed.

The champions of the first season of Love Island USA, who formed a partnership right from the start and remained together, dated for several months until the end of 2019 when they decided to part ways. In an Instagram post, Zac shared that their split was mutual and they ended things amicably. They just found themselves wanting different things in life.

In her own words, Elizabeth expressed, “Though I had hoped for a different outcome, life isn’t always as we might have wanted it to be.

However, she found love again—getting engaged to Gianni Settino in December 2024.

In her Instagram post dated July 2024, she wrote, “For those of you currently watching Love Island USA, yes, after five years, I’ve formed a new partnership.

As a passionate fan, I followed the love story between the runners-up of Love Island USA season 1. They were in a relationship for several months before they parted ways in late November 2019. Each of them announced their split on their individual Instagram stories. Alex, the lacrosse coach, expressed that we are no longer together. He further added, “Sometimes, relationships just don’t work out.

In my perspective, I found heartbreak to be quite challenging. To me, our relationship had all the elements of a beautiful fairy tale romance, but unfortunately, not every narrative has a perfect ending.

Despite not emerging victorious, the beloved couple from Love Island USA made an effort to keep their romance going despite the distance, traveling to spend holidays together. However, Caro announced the end of their relationship in a YouTube video posted in July 2020. In her words, “He wasn’t as committed to our relationship as I was,” which led to her decision to call it quits.

In October 2023, Caro made an intriguing announcement: she had gotten married to Rene Lacad the previous month. Then, come December, she shared that she and her new spouse were expecting a baby girl. Their daughter, Amina, was born in April 2024.

Amina’s Instagram post on Mother’s Day 2025 reads, ‘Dear Amina, thank you for considering me as your mother.’ It’s the highest honor I could ever receive.

In simpler terms, the U.S. version of the show featured an unexpected pairing between Kyra and Cashel. After sending Cashel home, Kyra decided to leave the show to explore a possible relationship with him. However, she found out that he had already returned before she could reconnect. Sadly, the musically talented couple parted ways in October 2019.

At the close of November, their differences seemed to be resolved. Yet, Kyra and Cashel parted ways permanently by February 2020.

By November’s end, they were back on friendly terms. But, unfortunately, Kyra and Cashel ended their romance definitively in February 2020.

As an utterly devoted admirer, I’d share that we gave it our best shot. On the NoFilter podcast, I confessed that although we both tried, it seems we’re in distinct phases of life…and yes, it appears she went so far as to block my number.

Later, Kyra appeared on various shows such as “Match Me If You Can” in 2021, “The Challenge: USA” in 2022 (which Cashel also participated in), and “Love Island Games” in 2023. However, she found her match off-screen with dental student and former basketball player Tal Sahar in 2024.

In May 2025, records show that Cashel was imprisoned in Utah due to accusations of domestic violence and assault. By June of the same year, additional charges for assault and domestic violence were leveled against him.

As reported by NBC News, Cashel refutes the accusations through his lawyer, Andrew K. Deesing, who stated, “My client and his family are going through an extremely tough period, and we kindly ask for privacy as we strive to safeguard his name and reputation during this process. At this point in time, we’re still in the initial stages and have no additional comments.

In contrast to many doubters among fellow couples in the villa and much of America, the Season 1 couple from the USA, Weston and Emily, actually dated in real life for a short while after the show, but eventually parted ways.

In a YouTube video from May 2020, she clarified that Weston and I are no longer a couple. Now, I’m single. We experienced quite a tumultuous relationship, like riding a roller coaster… It was particularly challenging due to distance, especially considering I was in college.

In the tenth season of “Love Island UK,” the winning couple exited the villa triumphantly, only to part ways a mere two months afterwards, in October 2023.

According to Sammy, the breakup came as a “total shock.”

During a private talk, we left some matters unresolved because Jess is currently out of town and we haven’t met in person yet. In a subsequent Instagram Story post, he clarified that he hoped to salvage our relationship by adopting a respectful approach.

Sammy remarked, “Even with everything that’s happened today, I believe Jess is truly exceptional and sincerely hope she thrives.

In January of 2025, Sammy graced the screen on “Love Island: All Stars”. During his stay, he developed a romantic connection with Elma Pazar. However, whispers of a breakup between the two started in June 2025.

In the inaugural winter edition of Love Island, the victors swiftly paired up right from the start, managing to maintain their relationship through every challenge and hurdle that the villa threw at them.

They moved in together in 2020, but called it quits three years later.

Paige expressed during an interview on ‘Love Island: After Sun’ in June 2023 that she and Finley remained close friends, but admitted they had grown apart. However, in August 2024, Finley revealed a new relationship on Instagram, initially hiding his partner’s identity. In June 2025, The Sun confirmed he was dating Jess Hale.

2020 runners-up of Winter Love Island, Siannise and Luke, discovered affection within the villa and continued their relationship outside for approximately a year until their split in November 2021.

Afterward, he rediscovered love and became engaged to Chelsea Menna by the end of 2022, just a year following the event.

During his time at Casa Amor, the scaffolder gained notoriety as one of the most disliked individuals in the U.K., after he chose Molly over popular contestant Shaughna Phillips. Eventually, due to public backlash, they were eliminated from the villa by viewer vote.

For a span of three years following their time on the island, they remained united, but by the year 2023, they chose to go their own ways.

The next year, they each participated in the show “Love Island: All Stars”. Molly paired up with Tom Clare and won that season. Simultaneously, Callum started a relationship with Jess Gale, finishing as runners-up. However, their relationship didn’t last long; Callum moved on to date Yasmin Deplidge in 2024. In contrast, Molly and Tom remain together to this day.

In my professional opinion as a lifestyle guide, I must confess that Season 6’s beloved star, Nas, initially enjoyed strong fan backing. However, the momentum shifted when he decided to end his relationship with Demi Jones following the Casa Amor twist, and opted instead for Eva. This decision, while perhaps personal, seemed to lose him some support among viewers.

Despite being eliminated from the program, Nas and Eva continued their relationship and officially confirmed it in July 2020.

Despite speculation about their relationship status arising in August 2023 after pictures of Eva wearing a ring surfaced on her ring finger, Nas clarified in March 2024 that they had split up.

Nas announced on Instagram that he and Eva had mutually agreed to end their relationship, stressing there’s no animosity or blame involved; it was a friendly and understanding parting.

He mentioned that they had been attempting to resolve issues over the past few months, but concluded that this was the most suitable decision. They are content with how things have turned out now.

Nas went on to appear on Love Island: All Stars in early 2025, but ultimately left the villas solo.

Unexpectedly, one unconventional duo from the winter season finished in third position. However, their relationship didn’t last long post-villa; they parted ways a few months later.

Demi shared with MailOnline in June 2020 that the relationship is over for good. She suggested that the breakup was more initiated by him than her, but they remain amicable. Due to lockdown measures and their geographical distance, the lack of communication drove them apart, leading to a gradual drift in their relationship.

Luke has been in a relationship with the stunning Lucie Donlan, who was introduced in season five, since then. The couple officially announced their romantic involvement in July 2020 and later became engaged in the following year.

In the year 2024, Demi made an appearance on the show titled “Love Island: All Stars“. During her time there, she crossed paths with Luis Morrison. Unfortunately, their relationship didn’t last beyond that year as they parted ways.

In the sixth season, a relatively subdued couple finished in fourth position. They continued dating for multiple months afterward but ultimately split up in June 2020.

In case you’re wondering, Ched and I have parted ways, but we remain good friends. I appreciate your kindness towards us during our time in the villa,” Jess conveyed to her Instagram followers.

Oh dear, that was a tough blow! Isn’t it frustrating when the victorious couple is among the first to part ways? Surprisingly, Greg, who joined the villa late during season 5, turned out to be the crowd’s favorite pairing. They even won the competition together. However, their relationship didn’t last long past the finale, breaking up only a few weeks later.

Following a minor disagreement and exchanges between the pair concerning the details of their breakup (it seems Greg, a rugby player residing in Ireland, ended it through a text message), Amber expressed on Loose Women, “I believe that our careers and distance were always an issue. It was something we were aware of, so I’m not sure what shifted. I wanted to make things work, but, in truth, it is what it is.

In response to the question about him, Greg explained on RTE’s The Late Late Show that “she resides in the UK, she’s highly sought after by brands for collaborations and events, naturally she deserves all this recognition. Consequently, I chose to return to Ireland and pursue my own endeavors here.

However, he found a new connection and kicked off 2025 by proposing to his love Jeanni Mulder.

Following an exhilarating beginning in their relationship, the Instagram influencer and the boxer emerged as the most steadfast pair during season five. Given this, it came as quite a shock that they ended up placing second.

In July 2024, they became engaged, marking the occasion six months following the arrival of their child named Bambi. However, things took an unexpected turn in August 2024 when Molly-Mae announced their separation.

She posted on Instagram Stories that she’s deeply saddened to confirm that her relationship with Tommy has ended. However, she remains eternally thankful for the greatest gift in her life, her precious daughter. Their union brought this little one into existence and she shall forever remain her topmost priority.

In the May 2025 installment of her Amazon Prime show, “Molly-Mae: Beyond the Surface,” she disclosed that she and Tommy decided to rekindle their romance.

In the fifth season, the couple who often faced strong opinions due to their tumultuous storyline managed to silence their critics by extending their relationship beyond the villa in 2019, despite finishing in fourth place.

In an interview on UK’s This Morning, Maura emphasized the importance of mutual trust, being discerning about news in the media, and most importantly, maintaining humility as key factors for keeping their relationship strong. She added that staying grounded is crucial.

However, the pair broke up in March 2020.

Maura stated in an Instagram post, “Curtis and I have decided to part ways.” She expressed gratitude for the wonderful moments they shared during their time on the villa and thanked everyone for their support throughout their relationship.

Despite this separation, Curtis’ Love Island journey continued. In 2023, he participated in a brief stint on Love Island: Games. Two years later, he appeared on Love Island: All Stars, where he and Ekin-Su finished third. However, they eventually split up a few months after the show ended.

In a May 2025 Instagram post, as reported by People, Ekin-Su shared that she and Curtis had chosen to part ways. She wrote in her Instagram Stories that it was a difficult decision, but one filled with love and respect for each other. He is an extraordinary individual, and she will always treasure the memories they created, both inside and outside of the villa.

Approximately a year following their victory in Love Island season eight (2022), Davide revealed that he and Ekin-Su had ended their relationship.

In an Instagram post dated June 2023, he expressed that his relationship with Ekinsuofficial is now over. He acknowledged the cherished moments and experiences they had together and conveyed his hope for her continued success. During this challenging period, he requested everyone to show understanding and respect. He pledged to remain supportive of Ekinsuofficial in any way possible moving forward.

Not long after, the pair rekindled their romance. However, they ended up calling it quits again.

Over the past 18 months, Davide and I have experienced highs and lows much like any other relationship, as Ekin-Su posted on Instagram in January 2024 (as captured by Cosmopolitan UK). We both wanted our bond to succeed because our feelings for each other were genuine. However, I’ve recently decided it’s best for us to part ways. Breakups are difficult for any couple, and we ask that our privacy be respected during this challenging time. The moments we shared will always hold a special place in my heart.

In the summer of 2024, Davide embarked on a new romantic journey with Iris Au. Simultaneously, Ekin-Su briefly engaged in a relationship with Curtis, following their third-place finish on Love Island: All Stars in early 2025. Regrettably, they parted ways several months afterward.

Despite entering the villa later than most couples, with popular contestant Ovie appearing during the controversial Casa Amor episodes and India joining even after that, this duo managed to reach the finale, finishing in third place in Love Island’s fifth season back in 2019.

However, the professional basketball player and the model quietly parted ways later that year.

She shared with MailOnline that while breakups are generally challenging, this one is particularly tough given the public nature. However, she assured that she will manage and is fortunate to have a tight-knit circle of female friends who have been providing support during this difficult time.

In early 2025, India appeared on Love Island: All Stars but left the show single.

On the initial day of season five, Lucie and Joe became partners. However, once he was eliminated from the villa, she swiftly changed her romantic interests by dating several other men, even confessing to having deep feelings for a committed Tommy. Thus, it came as quite a shock to fans when they disclosed that they were in a relationship post-season.

Just as their first romantic encounter had ended, so too did the surfer and the sandwich maker’s second try, leading them to separate in early December 2019.

Much like their initial romance didn’t last, the surfer and sandwich maker found that their second attempt also came to an end in early December 2019, as they ultimately parted ways.

Meanwhile, Lucie is now betrothed to Luke from season six, yet it appears that Joe, despite attempting to express interest during All Stars in 2024, is relishing his time as a bachelor.

During the second season of series five, Anton and Belle were the pair who ended their relationship shortly following their departure from the villa. Despite this, they have maintained a friendly connection, but Anton made it clear that there are no prospects for a romantic reconciliation between them.

The fitness app creator made it clear to Mail Online that there was no chance of it being a romantic relationship, stating, “Absolutely not, it’s not that kind of connection.” He further explained, “Given our current friendly dynamic, it would feel like dating a sibling. It’s beyond that stage now.

In the year 2024, Anton made an appearance on “Love Island: All Stars”. Together with Georgia Harrison, they placed fifth in the competition. Unfortunately, their relationship didn’t last long after the show.
