Following the recent releases of Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD and Luigi’s Mansion 3, Nintendo is bringing the very first Luigi’s Mansion game to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers on October 30th. This is the original version from the GameCube, released in 2001, not the remake that came out on the 3DS.
You’ll get to relive the original adventure, starting with getting the Poltergust 3000 and clearing the four areas of troublesome ghosts. You can also hunt for treasure and ultimately rescue Mario. While people loved the game’s fresh ideas, graphics, and sound, some felt it was a bit short and didn’t have much reason to play through it again.
