Lukas Gage Shares If He Regrets Marrying Chris Appleton on Kardashians

Lukas Gage is reflecting on his brush with married life.

The actor from *The White Lotus* recently discussed his 2023 marriage to hairstylist Chris Appleton, which unfortunately lasted only seven months. Even though their wedding, officiated by Kim Kardashian, was featured on *The Kardashians*, he says he wouldn’t change anything about how things unfolded.

Lukas said on the September 23rd episode of the *Not Skinny But Not Fat* podcast that he truly has no regrets, even using the hashtag ‘#noregrets’ to emphasize it.

It was a challenging period for the 30-year-old, who said he felt like a different person and didn’t recognize himself. This was largely due to the medication he was on at the time.

Lukas pointed out that the way doctors sometimes prescribe medication can be surprisingly flawed. He added that he can laugh about it and admit mistakes because, ultimately, it makes for a good, and even humorous, story.

The actor from *Road House* didn’t want to fault that relationship, because he truly believed he was in love, happy, and simply enjoying how things were unfolding. Or, at least, that’s what he believed at the time.

He admitted he felt like a different person, almost unrecognizable to himself. People around him felt the same way – they didn’t know who he’d become.

After stopping the medication, he immediately felt much clearer-headed, even though it felt like he’d drastically changed his life.

Chris, the hairstylist, recently opened up about his brief marriage, explaining that despite it not working out, he and Lukas did share a loving connection.

He shared with Jay Shetty on the *On Purpose* podcast in August that loving someone doesn’t always lead to a lifelong happy ending, but that doesn’t diminish the importance of the relationship.

He explained that he always learns valuable lessons from his relationships – things like what he needs in terms of personal boundaries, and how he wants to give and receive love. He sees this as a positive thing, because it means he’s constantly growing as a person.

The 42-year-old also responded to criticism about the speed of his relationship with Lukas, especially since they got married in Las Vegas only two months after their romance became public.

Chris clarified that acting quickly isn’t necessarily careless. He believes it can often be a sign of optimism. He added that he’s always approached relationships with an open heart and doesn’t regret it.
