Lunar Strike launches in May 2026

Cognition Europe has announced that their science fiction adventure game, Lunar Strike, will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (through Steam) in May 2026.

Here is an overview of the game, via Cognition Europe:

About

Lunar Strike is a story-driven adventure game where you explore the South Pole of the Moon in the year 2119.

Okay, so I’m playing this game where I’m a rookie archivist, and I’ve been sent to the last human base on the Moon. Basically, my job is to go through everything – all the science stuff, cultural artifacts, and even personal files – and scan it all to preserve it. It’s like a digital rescue mission for humanity’s history up there.

When someone intentionally damages the colony, the focus changes from building to simply surviving on the moon. The colonists must carefully manage limited resources like oxygen, power, and time, and decide what information is most important to save. Every decision they make impacts what gets preserved – and ultimately, the fate of the colony.

Okay, so this game really makes you think. It’s all about what we leave behind, how we remember things, and taking responsibility for our actions. Basically, you’re building this archive, but it gets tougher and tougher. And the cool thing is, how you play – your choices and what you believe in – actually changes how the story ends. It’s not just about winning, it’s about how you win, or even if you can.
