Netflix announced that season 4 of Lupin is coming soon, but it’s been the longest wait between seasons so far.
Lupin seasons 1 and 2 were both released in 2021, with season 3 following in 2023.
The fourth season of the French mystery thriller, starring Omar Sy, will be released in the fall of 2026.
Season 4 begins with Assane Diop in prison, following his decision to surrender to the police after the dramatic events of the last seasons.
He did all of this after a series of incredible events: stealing the Black Pearl, winning over the French people, pretending to die, and rescuing his long-lost mother.
Production on season 4 began back in May, and is yet to conclude.

Sy once described Lupin as a wonderful toy, saying it consistently brings him happiness.
We’ve collaborated with Netflix, Carrousel, and Gaumont to create something even better, investing the effort to bring more excitement and entertainment to both ourselves and viewers.
Carrousel Studios brings a great new vibe that fits perfectly with what we’re trying to achieve. I’m really excited to get these new episodes out to everyone.
In addition to Sy, Ludivine Sagnier will reprise her role as Claire in season 4, along with Antoine Gouy as Benjamin Ferel, Soufiane Guerrab as detective Youssef Guedira, and Shirine Boutella as lieutenant detective Sofia Belkacem.
Meanwhile, new additions to the cast will include Théo Christine, and Laïka Blanc-Francard.
