Order at Entertainment Earth
Originally released as M3GAN, this movie garnered a staggering $173.4 million against a budget of just $12 million, making a sequel inevitable. Now, in theaters starting today, you can catch M3GAN 2.0. Employing a similar narrative to Terminator 2, the antagonist from the first film, M3GAN herself, is tasked with safeguarding her people against another lethal robot. The posters’ taglines hint at the plot: “Humanity’s Greatest Threat is Now Our Only Hope” and “She Was Built to Obey.” With a chilling undercurrent, the film promises more of the same witty humor we saw in the original.
In M3GAN 2.0, Violet McGraw reprises the role of Cady, Allison Williams continues as Gemma, and Amie Donald stays as M3GAN. The voice of M3GAN remains Jenna Davis. A new character, the villainous Robot doll named AMELIA, is played by Ivanna Sakhno, who gained recognition for her role as Shin Hati in Star Wars: Ahsoka.
Although some initial critiques suggest that the latest slasher may not reach the same legendary status as its predecessor, it appears that there’s enough horror-filled fun to quench any appetite for fear.
On June 27, M3GAN 2.0 makes its grand entrance in cinemas. Keep your eyes peeled on our Gear Page for all the newest updates about this upcoming horror film and merchandise!
