Machine Gun Kelly Details Co-Parenting With “Greatest” Megan Fox

Machine Gun Kelly has absolutely no bad things to say about Megan Fox. 

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always fascinated by how people navigate parenthood, and Machine Gun Kelly is no exception. It’s been almost six months since he and Megan welcomed their daughter, Saga Blade, and he’s been incredibly open about how much he appreciates Megan as a co-parent. He’s said she’s exactly who he wants by his side as he experiences fatherhood again – a really sweet sentiment, honestly!

MGK described a deeply emotional story involving love, heartbreak, and magical moments. He shared on *The Jennifer Hudson Show*-airing September 18th-that it involved someone who was an incredible life partner and an amazing parent to his child.

I’ve been following Machine Gun Kelly for a while now, and it’s really heartwarming to hear him talk about Megan Fox! He’s such a proud dad to his kids, including his 16-year-old, Casie Colson Baker, with his ex, Emma Cannon. He’s always saying what an amazing mom Megan is, and apparently, their co-parenting relationship is incredibly smooth. MGK said they’re always comparing their baby to each of them. He mentioned that last month, the baby looked just like him, but now she looks exactly like her mother.

The rapper recently appeared on Today and explained he wants all the praise to go to Megan, because she’s the one who does all the actual work. He said he simply plays guitar and hopes their baby is happy.

Megan Fox, who shares three children – Noah, 12, Bodhi, 11, and Journey, 9 – with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green, has been mostly out of the public eye since having a baby in March. However, Machine Gun Kelly felt the need to address rumors after a frustrating encounter the couple had with their child.

He recently recounted someone complimenting his parenting simply because he was holding his baby. Apparently, another person reacted very negatively to the compliment, strongly disagreeing with it.

MGK not only thinks Megan is a great mom, but he also constantly expresses how happy she and their new baby have made him. He simply described it to *Today* as “awesome.”

The couple recently launched a podcast where they shared the story of how they first met while filming Midnight in the Switchglass. They also publicly confirmed their relationship on Instagram in July, with MGK posting a photo of them and a heartfelt caption about finally finding each other.

The actress posted the first picture of herself with her new boyfriend, writing a sweet caption: “Achingly Beautiful Boy… My heart is yours.”

The couple first appeared together publicly on the red carpet at the American Music Awards. That same month, the actress filed for divorce from her husband, Brian Austin Green, and they are parents to three sons together.

It’s like they’re connected, she says there’s always going to be something between them, no matter what happens. It’s just… everything makes sense now. I always felt it, and she finally confirmed it! Megan and her partner announced they are expecting a baby. She shared the news on Instagram with a photo of herself, naked and covered in black paint, cradling her baby bump, and a message reading, “Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back.”

She also included a picture of a pregnancy test with the word, “Yes.”

 

Just after Megan announced she was pregnant, the couple broke up, according to several news reports on December 10th.

I was so thrilled to hear that Megan and Machine Gun Kelly welcomed their daughter on March 27, 2025! Apparently, the birth was super special – MGK said Megan actually gave birth while listening to music he and Travis Barker created together. How cool is that?

The musician explained that they named their daughter Saga Blade Fox-Baker to reflect a five-year journey of hope and setbacks, describing it as a cycle of beginnings and returns.

 “She is an epic story,” he told Today. “That’s what saga means.”
