Previously featured contestant Madi Prewett has disclosed intimate insights into her spouse Grant Troutt’s significant personal changes prior to their union, as she discussed her perspectives on sexuality openly.
29-year-old Prewett disclosed during her “Stay True” podcast episode on June 23 that she and Grant had contrasting histories with intimacy and self-pleasure before their marriage, a topic she discussed openly.
The former reality TV star openly acknowledged that she sometimes struggled with the lure of pornography and self-pleasure before getting married. However, she rationalized these instances as acceptable since “at least” she wasn’t engaging in sexual activity with her partner during this time.
I confessed, ‘That’s where I tumbled down.’ I fought against it, but I unwittingly embraced the deception. This deceit steered me towards a life in chains,” Prewett revealed.
In contrast, Troutt faced unique challenges regarding the aspects of his sexuality since he had previously engaged in sexual activity outside of marriage as Prewett mentioned.
In simpler terms, Grant found himself in a group who seemed to think, “I’ve had sexual experiences before, so it doesn’t matter much now. It’s just another chapter in my life.” This perspective persisted as an issue for him, leading him to continue engaging in sexual activities with others.
In the podcast, Prewett underscored her conviction that opting for a “pure lifestyle” doesn’t automatically mean one’s past, or who they once were, determines their destiny.

She went on to express her gratitude for how Grant underwent a significant change with Jesus, embracing accountability and purity in his life. He wasn’t flawless; he occasionally stumbled. However, his commitment to living a pure life allowed us to stand at the altar, dedicating ourselves to each other and to God, mind, body, and spirit, with immense joy and tranquility. This was something we had strived for individually and together.
In October 2022, Prewett, who had previously sought Peter Weber’s affection during season 24 of ‘The Bachelor’, got married to Troutt, having gotten engaged shortly after they had been dating for less than a year.

That spring, the popular figure from “The Bachelor Nation” disclosed her new relationship with Troutt for the very first time by posting about it on Instagram.
Now you all understand, Prewett wrote, that Grant Michael Troutt is indeed the genuine, passionate individual residing here. It brings me immense pride to share this journey called life with someone who loves Jesus and people as deeply as you do. The last five months have been an extraordinary, exhilarating rollercoaster – filled with ups and downs – yet I wouldn’t want to embark on this ride with anyone else but you.
In January 2025, their first child was born to the couple, who they joyfully announced on social media platforms as their precious daughter’s arrival.
They posted on Instagram a collage of pictures showing Hosanna Rose Troutt, born on January 20, along with the hashtag #1.20.25.
