A fresh trailer has been released for Hangar 13’s game, “Mafia: The Old Country,” focusing this time on action-packed combat sequences. In contrast to the earlier trailers that delved into the life of a Torrisi mafioso, this one highlights the protagonist, Enzo Favara, engaging in numerous gun battles – whether they take place amidst streets and ruins or on horseback. However, it’s the knife fights that set his adventure apart from previous installments.
In the year 1900s, San Celeste placed significant importance on knives, and Hangar 13 delved deeply into their authentic construction process in Sicily. Knife fights were not unlike duels with a hint of honor, as evident when one adversary discards his firearm to engage Enzo in hand-to-hand combat. Evading and counterattacking are crucial, but so is the rapid succession of button presses to establish an upper hand.
Indeed, in situations beyond duels, knives prove indispensable for stealthy assassinations. You can approach enemies undetected or hurl them from afar, thus conserving valuable ammunition. Keep in mind that any time knives are drawn, it’s a matter of life and death.
The game ‘Mafia: The Old Country’ will be available starting August 8th on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms.
