Witchspire Gets Brand-New Gameplay Trailer Ahead of Steam Next Fest Demo

If you enjoy games like Hogwarts Legacy and Pokemon, and also like survival challenges, Witchspire might be for you. You play as a young witch trying to find her way back home, and that means surviving in a magical world full of dangerous creatures. You’ll gather resources, craft equipment, and team up with magical companions called Familiars to help you on your journey. Plus, Witchspire seems to have its own version of rare creature hunting, similar to finding ‘Shiny’ Pokemon!
Players will explore a beautiful, expansive open world on broomsticks in this game. You can discover diverse landscapes, from lush biomes to mysterious ancient ruins, either by yourself or with friends in co-op mode. To get a preview of the gameplay, check out the new trailer for Witchspire below.
The newest trailer for Witchspire gives a peek at the game’s cute companions, called Familiars, and shows off how combat and building will look. It also highlights the beautiful animated world players will explore, while hinting at secrets yet to be revealed. If you’re as eager to play as I am, the good news is the Witchspire demo launches on February 23rd as part of Steam Next Fest.
What’s Included in the Witchspire Demo?

This demo offers a sneak peek at the game’s potential, and it looks promising. It lets you play through Level 7, showcasing how you can customize your spellcaster and choose different covens. You’ll also get to try out various ways to move around, like spirit jumps and magical teleports. Plus, the demo includes the game’s creature-collecting feature, with two different creatures available to start with.
No survival crafting game is complete without base building, and the Witchspire demo will let you try it out. You’ll be able to unlock some early-game building materials and start progressing your home base. Overall, the demo offers a good taste of the game’s main features, with plenty more to explore when Witchspire enters Early Access later this year.
