Major Crunchyroll Anime Confirms New Season Release Date With Huge Premiere Plans

A popular anime series on Crunchyroll has announced its new season premiere date and exciting launch plans. Crunchyroll is offering a lot of great anime this year, and fans have already enjoyed a large selection as part of the Winter 2026 lineup. With more new anime coming this Spring, one of Crunchyroll’s biggest franchises has now revealed when its new season will begin, along with details about its first episodes.

The anime Classroom of the Elite will return on April 1st in Japan. It was previously announced the new season would premiere sometime in April as part of the Spring 2026 lineup, and now we have a confirmed date! The premiere episode will be 90 minutes long. Classroom of the Elite Season 4 Confirms April 2026 Release Date

The fourth season of Classroom of the Elite, officially titled Classroom of the Elite 2nd Year, will premiere in Japan on April 1st. The premiere will be a special 90-minute event, showing the first four episodes back-to-back. New episodes will then be released weekly. Crunchyroll has announced it will stream the season outside of Japan, but hasn’t yet said if the first four episodes will be available all at once with the premiere.

The second season of Classroom of the Elite has announced its theme songs: “MONSTER” by Eir Aoi will be the opening theme, and “Liar Veil” by ZAQ will play during the ending credits. This new season officially starts the second year of school for Kiyotaka Ayanokoji and his classmates, meaning they’ll face a lot of new challenges and rivals within the school’s competitive environment.

What’s New for Classroom of the Elite Season 4?

The voice cast for Classroom of the Elite 2nd Year is growing! Minako Sato will voice Tsubasa Nanase, Hiroya Egashira will be Kazuomi Hosen, Momoko Seto will play Ichika Amasawa, Shinnosuke Tokudome will voice Takuya Yagami, Iori Saeki will be Sakurako Tsubaki, and Shogo Sakata will play Riku Utsunomiya. If you’re planning to watch, now’s a great time to catch up on everything that’s happened so far, as the anime is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.

Although there was a significant delay between the first and second seasons of Classroom of the Elite, the third and fourth seasons are coming out much faster. The show didn’t generate as much excitement after the long wait, but it’s really delivering now that the challenges and consequences are more intense than ever.
