Mandy Moore is giving thanks for what—and who—she has.
Almost a year after a wildfire destroyed her home in Altadena, California, the actress from This Is Us shared how the experience and other recent events have affected her and her family.
She shared on Instagram on November 27th that despite a challenging and eventful year, she feels incredibly grateful.
Mandy, 41, posted a sweet message along with a collection of black-and-white photos. The pictures showed her, her husband Taylor Goldsmith, and their children – Gus Harrison, 4, Ozzie Bennett, 3, and Louise Everett, 14 months – enjoying time together and sharing laughs.
As a lifestyle expert, I always say Thanksgiving is about cherishing what truly matters. This year, when sending warm wishes to everyone, a friend of mine beautifully expressed that she’s most thankful for her four loved ones – and honestly, that really resonated with me. It’s a lovely reminder to focus on the people we hold dearest.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen firsthand how important community is, especially after something difficult happens. Following the natural disaster earlier this year, Mandy really relied on her closest friends and family. Her brother-in-law, Griffin Goldsmith, shared that Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma were incredibly supportive, actually opening their home to Mandy and her family. It’s beautiful to see them giving back and helping those around them during a tough time.
Griffin shared on Instagram that the people who helped their family have been incredible from the very beginning. They expressed deep gratitude, saying they could never fully repay the kindness shown, and described their helpers as the most selfless and beautiful people they’ve ever met.

Many celebrities, like Mandy, are cherishing time with their children during the holidays. Brittany Mahomes recently shared adorable family photos taken before her husband, Patrick Mahomes, and the Kansas City Chiefs played the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. The photos feature their children: Sterling, 4, Bronze, 2, and baby Golden, who is 10 months old.
