A new Assassin Archetype is now available for runners in Marathon. This addition lets players use stealth and cunning to combat the recently introduced Destroyer Shell, offering a different strategy than the Destroyer’s straightforward attacks. A new trailer highlights the Assassin’s unique abilities.
The trailer starts by hinting at the Assassin’s unique style – a calm but powerful ability to create controlled chaos. They’re dressed sharply, but their true strength lies in a skillset that combines Batman-like tactics with the agility of a nimble fighter. If you enjoy playing stealthily and keeping your enemies guessing, this new Archetype might be perfect for you.
It remains to be seen how well this stealthy enemy will fit into Bungie’s new PvPvE extraction shooter, but currently, the Assassin seems like a strong contender. Its inclusion highlights the game’s potential for diverse gameplay, which could keep players engaged for a long time. Bungie is aiming to make Marathon a unique experience in a genre that’s quickly becoming very competitive.
Wow, I’m seriously excited for Marathon! It looks so intense that even the most powerful villains might think twice before messing with it. It’s coming out on March 6th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, and I can’t wait to play it!
