Interested in checking out the game Marathon before it launches on March 5th? A new gameplay clip from a recent internal test, shared on the official YouTube channel, could convince you to give it a try.
Marathon is looking like a strong contender in the extraction-shooter genre, thanks to its fluid movement, well-designed levels, and satisfying gunplay. The latest gameplay footage shows a lot of promise, particularly with the Thief class’s drone – it can scout a large area ahead, sneak through vents to stay hidden, and efficiently collect loot. Overall, Marathon appears to be a promising addition to the genre.
Bungie seems very optimistic about the game, promising permanent bans for cheaters and showcasing gameplay footage before its launch and the upcoming Server Slam event, happening February 26th to March 2nd. You can watch the gameplay clip below and start planning your strategy to excel when the game releases next week on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
