This Barbie has been cuttin’ it up at the salon.
Margot Robbie debuted a fresh, shoulder-length haircut at Paris Fashion Week on March 9th, signaling that spring is the perfect time for a dramatic hair change.
At Chanel’s fall/winter 2026 show, the 35-year-old actor known for her role in Wuthering Heights showed off loose, wavy hair with soft, wispy bangs. She paired the slightly damp-looking hairstyle with a sheer, oversized top, a lace bra, baggy jeans, and a leather bag.
Oh my gosh, did you see Margot’s hair?! It’s not a new thing, she rocked this amazing, chic lob before! I remember she had it at the Breakthrough Prize Awards last year, and it was just perfect – straight, but with a little lift at the ends. It was such a change because, like, all throughout the Barbie press tour the year before, she was always showing off her long hair! It’s like she’s subtly evolving her look, and I’m here for it. She and Tom Ackerley are just the cutest, and she’s a total style icon, especially now that she’s a mom to a little one!
Just like styles from that time period, Margot Robbie recently showcased long hairstyles while promoting her film Wuthering Heights. Before her new haircut, she wore her blonde hair in waves and loose ponytails, fitting the vintage look of the film, which was inspired by Emily Brontë’s classic novel.
While her hairstyles always turned heads, it was her fashion choices that really defined her looks. Alongside Jacob Elordi, the actress known for her role in Suicide Squad brought high fashion to the world of the Brontë story, wearing everything from see-through bodysuits to colorful jackets with statement heels. But the most unforgettable outfit was the stunning black and red lace Schiaparelli ball gown she wore to the Los Angeles film premiere in January.
In fact, Margot admitted she wanted this look to feel like a scene out of Wuthering Heights.

She explained that the design process started with a creative question: ‘What would Wuthering Heights look like if it were a dress?’ The idea was to visually represent the story’s connection to the land, imagining the dress absorbing color from the red floor, with the lace and darker elements reflecting the decaying atmosphere of the Wuthering Heights estate, as she told Variety at the premiere.
Margot explained that her stylist, Andrew Mukamal, drew inspiration from Emily Brontë’s novel to design each of her memorable outfits.
She told Elle magazine in January that he’s a history student and loves to really get into details. He even visited the set during filming and spent time with our costume designer, Jacqueline Durran, which is unusual.
I’m loving Margot Robbie’s fresh new haircut – that lob is gorgeous! It got me thinking about all the amazing style moments from Paris Fashion Week, and I can’t wait to see what other stars wowed the crowds.
