Title for the debut of the Nintendo Switch 2: “Mario Kart Universe”
Initially, the title has garnered much interest among gamers, with most expressing their enjoyment for the newest addition to the renowned racing series. After all, who wouldn’t be thrilled about the opportunity to race as a Cow? However, there have been some bugs and glitches that have surfaced during gameplay, which Nintendo is actively addressing. Since its debut, Mario Kart Universe has received multiple updates to fix these issues. The latest patch aims to eliminate even more of these bugs, further enhancing your gaming experience with “Mario Kart Universe.
The latest update for “Mario Kart World” on Nintendo Switch, dated June 25th, is now ready to be downloaded. Similar to the last two updates in June, this one primarily addresses bugs. Specifically, it smoothens out issues with Online Play and Knockout Tour modes, as well as shortens the unusually long fall on the Dino Dino Jungle track for a swifter recovery. Additionally, racers using Bullet Bill won’t get stuck at the finish line on the Boo Cinema course anymore.
This update introduces a significant modification: the course selection in Random mode during wireless races has been altered. Consequently, choosing Random no longer ensures that players will always receive traditional 3-lap courses when playing online. This adjustment allows for both intermission tracks and standard regular race tracks to appear randomly, which not all players are pleased about.
This update for Mario Kart World is quite compact, but it includes significant improvements as well as some changes that have sparked debate among players. The update will automatically install on your Nintendo Switch 2 if it’s connected to the internet. To confirm the installation, go to the Home menu and press either the + or – button to view the game’s version number. It should display Version 1.1.2. If you don’t see this, select “Software Update” and then download the new update over the internet.
