Mark Wahlberg Shares Health Update on Daughter Grace After Injury

Mark Wahlberg‘s daughter Grace is on the mend.

Actor Ted shared news about his 15-year-old daughter, Rhea Durham, just over a week after she was injured during a horse riding competition and hospitalized with an arm injury.

Mark shared with TopMob News that Michelle Monaghan is recovering well. He described the situation as frightening, but praised her bravery and strength.

The actor, who is also a father to Ella, 22, Michael, 19, and Brendan, 17, said she simply wants to move forward after a frightening experience. He added, “It was really scary.”

Mark says Grace is incredibly enthusiastic about the sport, even though it can be risky.

He admitted it’s always stressful watching her jump, particularly because she frequently increases the height of her jumps.

I’ve been following Grace’s career for a long time, and honestly, nothing will keep her from getting back to riding. She’s a pro – she’s been doing this for years! As Mark said, she’s absolutely thrilled to return, and knowing her, she’ll be amazing.

I noticed Grace shared some photos of herself on horseback recently, and her caption – ‘Tippy z…looking forward to a big year’ – definitely got my attention! It seems like she’s really excited about what’s coming up, and I love how she’s hinting at a fantastic year ahead. It’s always inspiring to see people pursuing their passions and sharing a glimpse of their joy with others.

Mark Wahlberg is also finishing a busy year. His new movie, The Family Plan 2, which continues the popular action-comedy series from Apple TV+ (originally released in 2023), will be available on November 21st. Michelle returns for this sequel, and they’re joined by Kit Harington, who plays the brother of Mark’s character.

The actor praised the Game of Thrones star, calling him “amazing” and “wonderful.” He also shared that he’s always wished he had an older sibling, explaining that he’s the youngest in a family of nine children.

Mark Wahlberg, who runs the Wahlburgers restaurant chain with his brothers Donnie and Paul, is excited to spend the holidays with his family.

He explained that their family always takes a vacation together, which naturally involves spending a lot of time in each other’s company. They enjoy meals together and fill the day with shared activities. “It’s nice,” he said, adding, “We love it because we’re all together.”
