Dotemu and Tribute Games (known for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge) have just released a new 2D beat ‘em up called Marvel Cosmic Invasion. The game lets you team up with 15 of Marvel’s most popular heroes and anti-heroes to fight against Annihilus. You can watch the launch trailer below.
As a gamer, I’m super excited about the hero roster! We’re talking big names like Captain America, Black Panther, and Iron Man from the Avengers, plus the X-Men crew – Wolverine, Storm, and even Jean Grey as Phoenix. And don’t forget Rocket Raccoon from the Guardians of the Galaxy! There’s a ton of other awesome characters too, like Phyla-Vell, Beta Ray Bill, Silver Surfer, Nova, and Cosmic Ghost Rider. The best part is that each hero has special powers we can combine in cool ways with this new Cosmic Swap system.
You can play Marvel Cosmic Invasion by yourself or with up to three friends online or locally, with the ability to easily join and leave games.
