We love a good retro-style beat-’em-up, and Marvel Cosmic Invasion is looking like another cracker.
Tribute Games, the team behind the popular TMNT Shredder’s Revenge, just revealed two new playable characters in their newest trailer.
Yes, Black Panther and Cosmic Ghost Rider are now part of the roster.
Black Panther is a widely recognized hero, largely due to his popularity in the Marvel films. He possesses incredible strength and speed, and uniquely, can access the memories and wisdom of all those who came before him in the role.

Cosmic Ghost Rider is a cool new character. While most people know the original Ghost Rider, Cosmic Ghost Rider is a unique take with similar powers. What sets him apart is his ability to use both Hellfire and the incredibly powerful Power Cosmic, which appears to be key to the game’s story.
The pair joins the rest of the roster, which is as follows:
- Beta Ray Bill
- Captain America
- Nova
- Phyla-Vell
- Rocket Raccoon
- She-Hulk
- Silver Surfer
- Spider-Man
- Storm
- Venom
- Wolverine
So far, 13 of the game’s 15 playable characters have now been unveiled.
We still don’t know when Cosmic Invasion will be released, but we’re hoping it’s coming soon. It might come out in 2026, but there’s still a chance it could launch before the end of this year.
