Marvel Fan Gives Avengers: Doomsday’s 10 Biggest Missing Heroes Their Own Chairs Announcement

As a huge Marvel fan, I was so excited when Marvel Studios revealed the first 27 actors for *Avengers: Doomsday* back in March 2025! It’s going to be a massive event kicking off Phase 6 of the MCU. But honestly, I was a little disappointed some of my favorites weren’t on the list. Luckily, a fantastic artist created some incredible fan art showing ten more MCU stars joining the cast – it’s like they’re getting their own special chair-laying ceremony! It really got me hoping we’ll see these actors back in action for *Doomsday* too.

Okay, so everyone’s buzzing about who’ll be in *Avengers: Doomsday*, and honestly, the speculation is half the fun! While we wait for Marvel to officially announce the cast, a fan artist named @itoonofficial on Instagram gave us a glimpse of their dream team, and it’s pretty fantastic. They’ve imagined ten characters joining the fray: Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch, Halle Berry’s Storm, Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man, Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight, both Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man, Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, Famke Janssen’s Jean Grey, and even Chris Evans as the evil Captain HYDRA! It’s just a wish list, of course, but if Marvel delivered even half of this lineup, *Doomsday* would be absolutely epic.

Who Do We Want to Join Avengers: Doomsday’s Already-Impressive Cast?

The cast of *Avengers: Doomsday* includes the new Avengers team led by Sam Wilson, along with members of the Fantastic Four from another universe, the X-Men from yet another, and Wakanda’s protectors. A total of 26 heroes will unite to fight Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, who plans to cause chaos throughout the multiverse – possibly to prevent the destruction of realities and save everything as he sees it. To face such a huge threat, *Doomsday* requires a massive team of heroes.

Currently, none of the Young Avengers have been confirmed to appear in the upcoming *Doomsday* film. It would be a great opportunity to finally bring together characters like Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, Cassie Lang, Wiccan, Speed, and Ironheart. While established Avengers such as Captain Marvel, War Machine, Vision, and Hawkeye could also be involved, the possibility of seeing characters from different universes return is particularly exciting.

Although seven X-Men have been confirmed, many familiar faces like Storm, Jean Grey, Rogue, Iceman, Wolverine, and Deadpool haven’t been announced yet. If the upcoming *Avengers: Doomsday* revisits the universe from the old 20th Century Fox X-Men movies, it would be amazing to see the complete team return. While the ten characters featured in this fan art would be a good beginning, fans are hoping Marvel Studios will assemble the full team for a spectacular comeback soon.
