Joe Locke and Ruaridh Mollica are appearing together in a play titled “Clarkston.” On Wednesday, theater director Jack Serio posted a photo of them on set, depicting their characters who share a close bond in the drama. Although this is their first project together, Marvel fans speculate that these actors might soon portray similar characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In the forthcoming Marvel series on Disney+ titled “Vision Quest,” Mollica has been chosen to star in this role, following “Agatha: All Hail” which was the first spin-off from the 2021 release of “WandaVision.” Kathryn Hahn’s “Agatha” series featured Locke as Agatha’s familiar, who was initially called “Teen,” and later revealed to be William “Billy” Kaplan: a character reborn as Billy Maximoff, the son of Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany’s Vision.

Who Is Ruaridh Mollica in Marvel’s Vision Quest?
In a twist of roles, Julian Hilliard portrayed the younger version of Billy in both “WandaVision” and “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” sharing the screen with Jett Klyne as his on-screen twin brother Tommy Maximoff. However, it was actually Locke who took over as the magic-wielding Wiccan in “Agatha All Along.
The television series concludes with the Scarlet Witch’s son embarking on a quest for his older twin brother Tommy (alias Speed from the Young Avengers) accompanied by Agatha Harkness, who is said to be ghostly. Fans speculate that Mollica might portray this speedster character in the upcoming series, Vision Quest. However, it’s suggested that his character, Tucker, serves as a disguise for his true identity.
One user commented on Wanda’s children after seeing the picture, while another questioned if Locke and Mollica were Billy and Tommy.
In a more simplified way:
One user responded to the picture by mentioning Wanda’s kids. Another asked if Locke and Mollica were Billy and Tommy.
The specifics of “Vision Quest” are being protected within a security system, but Paul Bettany, who previously lent his voice to the AI Jarvis and portrayed the synthezoid Vision in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” (2015), will take the lead in this series as his character White Vision from “WandaVision.” White Vision is a version of the emotionless, pure-white android Avenger, rebuilt by S.W.O.R.D. following Vision’s demise in “Avengers: Infinity War” (2018).
James Spader once again takes on the part of the Avengers’ adversary, Ultron, while Faran Tahir, who was last seen as the terrorist connected to the Ten Rings organization named Raza in the 2008 Iron Man film, is also set to make a comeback almost two decades after Jeff Bridges’ character, Obadiah Stane (Iron Monger), assigned Raza to kidnap Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr.
As a passionate cinephile, I’m thrilled to share that the exceptional T’Nia Miller, known for her role in “The Fall of the House of Usher,” will be portraying Jocasta – a character originally an Ultron-created robot from the comics. Emily Hampshire, recognized for her work in “12 Monkeys,” will lend her voice to Stark’s advanced reality security and defense system, E.D.I.T.H (Even Dead I’m the Hero). Lastly, Todd Stashwick, best known from “Star Trek: Picard,” will take on the character of the mercenary Paladin. Terry Matalas will be at the helm as head writer and showrunner for this exciting project!
In the upcoming film “Vision Quest,” is it Mollica who will portray the character Tommy Maximoff, also known as Speed? Share your thoughts and speculations in the comment area beneath the post.
