It’s also reported that motion capture and voice acting by Tony Todd were completed. If this information is accurate, it implies the game was intended for release in 2025.

This new theory proposes that the leak merely postponed Insomniac Games’ production schedule, resulting in a shift of Marvel’s Venom from 2025 to 2026. This theory also claims that an official announcement about the game is expected later this year. If this doesn’t materialize, though, one might have to consider the possibility that the project was shelved. However, Insomniac Games has been silent on Marvel’s Wolverine too, so the absence of updates on Marvel’s Venom may not be a cause for concern, at least not at this point in time.
