I’m so excited about New York Comic Con 2025! Hasbro is bringing a ton of awesome stuff for fans of Star Wars Black Series, Marvel Legends, G.I. Joe Classified, and Transformers. They’ve got a full guide coming with all the pre-order details, but I wanted to share some of the Marvel Legends news! They just launched the Executioner Build-A-Figure wave with seven new figures, and I’m especially hyped about the World War II Wolverine/Logan and Warbow figures – we got a sneak peek of those back at San Diego Comic-Con in July!
Rounding out the new collection are figures inspired by Iron Man’s Model 72 armor from the comics, Werewolf by Night, Enchantress, Phantom Rider, and Dark Avengers Spider-Man. Hasbro also announced two Inhumans packs – Black Bolt and Triton together, and Gorgon with Medusa – plus Retro Spider-Man 2099 and Cardiac figures during their Marvel Legends livestream at New York Comic Con. You’ll find more details about these releases further down.
Marvel Legends Excecutioner BAF Wave Pre-Orders
Alright, collectors, mark your calendars! Pre-orders for the new Marvel Legends Executioner Build-A-Figure wave kick off October 10th at 10am Pacific, 1pm Eastern. You’ll be able to snag them at Entertainment Earth, and almost certainly at Amazon and Walmart, alongside Hasbro Pulse. I’ll be updating with direct links to each figure as soon as they go live, so keep checking back. Let’s be real, though – everyone’s going to be after that World War II Wolverine/Logan figure. It’s the clear standout, and cleverly, it’s the only one *without* a piece of the Executioner build-a-figure, meaning you’ll need to buy multiple figures to complete him!
- WW2 Wolverine ($27.99)
- Model 72 Armor Iron Man ($27.99)
- Werewolf by Night ($27.99)
- Enchantress ($27.99)
- Dark Avengers Spider-Man ($27.99)
- Warbow ($27.99)
- Phantom Rider ($27.99)
This is the first new Build-A-Figure wave Marvel has released since January’s Nemesis collection, and only the third BAF wave of the year. Hasbro seems to be shifting away from Build-A-Figures and focusing more on larger, deluxe figures like those in the Maximum Series. This wave might be your last chance to get a BAF set at regular retail price.
