As a big Marvel Legends fan, I’m really excited about two new pre-orders that just dropped! First, on September 16th, they launched a Daredevil: Born Again replica set – the mask and billy club – and it honestly looks like it came straight off the Disney+ show. And today, they’re releasing a two-pack featuring Deathbird and Gladiator from the X-Men comics, with designs pulled right from the pages! I can’t wait to add these to my collection.

The Marvel Legends X-Men Deathbird and Gladiator two-pack is available for pre-order starting September 18th at 1 PM Eastern Time. The price is $57.99.

It’s understandable that some fans might disagree with Hasbro’s decisions regarding the characters’ designs, particularly the lack of wings on the Deathbird figure. However, it’s likely a winged version will be released later on. Overall, Deathbird is a popular character, so it’s great to finally see her included in this set. The Gladiator figure is also improved from previous versions, featuring a more detailed sculpt, updated leg design, and an extra head. This 2-pack makes sense as a pairing and will help build out the Shi’ar Imperial Guard collection.

The new Marvel Legends X-Men Deathbird and Gladiator 2-pack is available for pre-order starting today, September 18th at 10am Pacific Time / 1pm Eastern Time. While you’re waiting for the newest figures to arrive, don’t forget to check out the recent Marvel Legends Mini-Comics release from last week! It features characters like Excalibur’s Rachel Summers/Phoenix and X-Force’s Feral, along with Astonishing X-Men’s Beast, Yelena Belova as Black Widow, Silver Surfer, and Shadowland Daredevil. This week, McFarlane Toys is releasing over a dozen new figures in their DC Multiverse line. You can find a full list of what’s coming here.
