The eagerly awaited summer swimsuit event for Marvel Rivals, initially announced in April, is almost here! On July 18, 2025, the stylish swimwear for Psylocke and Loki will be unveiled.
NetEase Games recently revealed two new looks for Psylocke and Loki that make them even more fashionable under the sun. Psylocke’s “Breezy Butterfly” swimsuit features a see-through top paired with a one-piece, while Loki has been spotted in an Asgardian speedo and a “Robe of Relaxation,” complete with a golden alligator. Take a look at the first images of these outfits below:
The two skins are scheduled to debut on July 18, 2025, at 2:00 UTC, 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, and 7:00 a.m. Pacific Time. At this moment, we don’t have information about the price, but it is likely that buying both skins together as a bundle will be less expensive than purchasing them separately.
Both outfits look fantastic, but I am especially excited about Loki’s attire. Since I often play Loki when using strategists, I can see this outfit replacing my current choice of his Season 2 TV series appearance. Perhaps they could also add an emote showing him briefly transforming into an alligator?
According to concept art shared by NetEase Games, Loki’s adoptive brother and rival Thor will also be sporting some impressive swimwear, while Luna Snow is heating up her outfit.
We’ll have to wait a little longer to see what these two swimsuit-themed outfits look like in the game. I am also curious to find out if any other heroes will reveal their summer skins soon. It’s possible that the developers are limiting it to a few characters to gauge reactions for next year, but we shall see.
Marvel Rivals is not the only game planning swimsuit-themed skins to entice players to spend money. Recently, Capcom shared concept art for the Outfit 4 lineup in Street Fighter 6, featuring Cammy, Chun-Li, and others participating in the summer fun.
Vanguards are still struggling, including my main!
In the midst of all the enjoyable action, it’s important to address my present concern: Thor, unfortunately, remains underpowered. Despite my anticipation for Season 3, I find it surprising that he received no adjustments at all. I’ll keep fighting with Mjolnir, but when characters like Wolverine are tearing through Vanguard types due to his Phoenix partnership, it gets tough. Perhaps a brief switch to Loki would help alleviate some stress.
By the way, Marvel Rivals is available for free on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, and PlayStation 5.
