Marvel Studios has given fans their first look at Scorpion’s costume for the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Michael Mando is reprising his role as Mac Gargan, who was last seen in jail at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming. After almost nine years, Marvel has unveiled the suit that turns Gargan into the villainous Scorpion.
Piticas, a Brazilian merchandise store, recently updated its website with a comic book-style design inspired by the Spider-Man: Brand New Day series.
The official Spider-Man website recently featured a “Brand New Day” banner, but it has since been removed. The banner showcased characters from the upcoming movie, including Hulk, Boomerang, Tarantula, and revealed the first image of Michael Mando as Scorpion.

The image shows Scorpion, maskless, in his fully armored exoskeleton suit, ready for battle.

This is our first glimpse of Scorpion as he appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and he’s set to be a major challenge for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man this year.

Scorpion first appeared in the comic book The Amazing Spider-Man #20 in 1963 and has since been one of Spider-Man’s most formidable physical foes.

The villain is famous for his all-green suit and dangerous stinger. He usually wears a mask, but early looks at the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe suggest the live-action version, Gargan, might not.
