Several sources are reporting that Marvel Studios changed its latest trailer for Avengers: Doomsday to keep key plot details secret. The fourth and final trailer, which was recently released, highlights Letitia Wright as Black Panther, the people of Wakanda, and surprisingly, Ebon Moss Bachrach’s character from Fantastic Four: First Steps.
This new trailer is just as mysterious as the previous ones, but it’s sparked more criticism. Some viewers believe it deliberately misleads fans by editing out key parts of scenes.
The trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, featuring Wakanda and the Fantastic Four, has sparked some doubt online. Trusted sources like ManaByte and Alex Perez suggest that certain scenes may have been altered to keep plot details secret from fans.
A user named Manabyte noticed online that the rocket and Doctor Doom appear to have been digitally removed from the trailer, leaving noticeable empty spaces in a few scenes.
Alex Perez from The Cosmic Circus further intensified rumors about Doctor Doom appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He highlighted a funny exchange between M’Baku (Winston Duke) and Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) in the latest trailer, posting the phrase “Victor Von Doom, Latveria.” Perez, a long-time industry insider, also reminded fans that Marvel often changes footage in trailers, suggesting this could be a deliberate misdirection.
Fans have been discussing two specific shots from the film: the first shows Letitia Wright as Black Panther walking onto a desert landscape, and the second features The Thing strangely positioned within the frame, with a lot of empty space behind him.
Even the directors of Doomsday, Joe and Anthony Russo, encouraged fans to closely examine the four trailers, hinting that the released footage might contain hidden clues or deeper meaning.
Even if these strange scenes don’t end up meaning anything, Marvel fans are used to paying close attention, because the studio often changes trailers to keep surprises hidden. Marvel Studios has a history of digitally editing trailer footage to avoid spoiling plot details.
The trailer for Avengers: Infinity War famously showed Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk fighting in the final battle, even though that scene didn’t actually make it into the finished movie.
Fans noticed something strange with the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home: Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire were taken out of it, but a single punch thrown by one of them remained. This immediately made fans suspect they would appear in the movie.
The full fourth Avengers: Doomsday trailer can be seen below:
The new movie, Avengers: Doomsday, will be released in theaters on December 18th. This latest installment in the Avengers series features heroes from across different universes teaming up to face a major threat posed by Robert Downey Jr., playing Doctor Doom. The film brings back familiar faces like Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Anthony Mackie, and also introduces new cast members including Florence Pugh, Channing Tatum, and Pedro Pascal.
What Is Avengers: Doomsday Trailer 4 Hiding?

It’s always entertaining when fans notice Marvel Studios editing their trailers, and it’s even more fun to guess what those changes might be hiding. While Marvel hasn’t officially confirmed any edits to the fourth trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, many reports suggest that it has been digitally altered.
There’s a lot of talk about Doctor Doom and the Fantastic Four’s spaceship. We already know the spaceship will be in an upcoming movie, as it appeared briefly after the credits of Thunderbolts. Given that The Thing seems to be visiting Wakanda and meeting Shuri and the people of Talokan, it’s logical to assume the Fantastic Four’s rocketship might be there too.
It’s also interesting that Doctor Doom doesn’t appear in the trailer. So far, the trailers for Avengers: Doomsday have only shown the heroes, and Robert Downey Jr.’s villain has remained a secret.
If he’s in Wakanda with Ben Grimm, it might happen during one of the reality-bending events shown in the movie. Some viewers believe the trailer’s desert-like setting could be the underwater kingdom of Talokan, but shown without any water.
With the arrival of Doom and the merging of universes, it’s possible that an Incursion destroyed all the water surrounding the ocean-dwelling civilization.
It’s going to be interesting to see if Doom was intentionally left out of this trailer. Some fans believe he’s been removed from all the trailers as a deliberate hint, but that’s just speculation for now.
