Arc System Works and Sony have unveiled an introductory video for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls at EVO 2025, but there’s more exciting news! They’ve also announced a closed beta testing phase that will take place from September 5th to 7th, exclusively on the PS5. Interested participants can sign up via the PlayStation Beta Program.
Six characters – Captain America, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, Doctor Doom, Storm, and Iron Man – will be playable in online combat. You’ll have access to their command lists. New York City is the stage, divided into three main zones: Hell’s Kitchen, Avengers Park, and City Center.
This version maintains the original meaning but uses simpler language for easy understanding.
Additionally, you have the option to enter the Lobby (capable of hosting up to 64 players and boasting chibi avatars) or engage in the Startup Battle against AI opponents to familiarize yourself with the 4v4 tag gameplay. Furthermore, you can observe other players’ online matches by spectating them as well.
Marvel’s “Fighting Souls” is set to release in the year 2026, available on PlayStation 5 and PC platforms. Keep an eye out for further updates about this engaging animated combat game as we approach the upcoming closed beta tests, happening in the following weeks.
