In the near future, “Marvel’s Fighting Souls” will be available in beta exclusively on PlayStation 5. While there are many excellent fighting games in the market, some of which are based on popular intellectual properties, it’s rare to find a true Marvel fighting game. Although there was “Marvel vs Capcom,” it was a crossover series, so it wasn’t quite the same. Now, Arc System Works is developing a new, stylized fighting game for Marvel titled “Marvel’s Fighting Souls.” This will mark Marvel’s debut into the fighting game genre on its own.
This developer is primarily recognized for their contributions to the creation of fighting games, and the prospect of them crafting one set in the Marvel universe has generated much enthusiasm. Naturally, the fighting game community is particularly enthusiastic about this, and they’ve already shared some feedback on Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, but it seems likely that it will still prove to be an outstanding new game. However, the new game won’t be released until next year. Yet, fans eagerly awaiting it can get their hands on it sooner, provided they own a PS5.
At EVO, Arc System Works has revealed the beta testing phase for “Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls” on PlayStation 5. Presently, there are no confirmed dates for the PC version’s beta, but you can register for a closed beta on Sony’s console immediately. The beta testing for “Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls” is set to start on September 5th and continue till September 7th. At this moment, it seems like this will be a weekend-long test, and you’ll need an access code to participate. You can register by clicking here. The extent of the beta’s exclusivity is uncertain at this time, but there’s a possibility that not everyone may gain entry due to no plans for expanding participation.
In the beta version of “Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls,” gamers will get the chance to control six unique characters such as Doctor Doom, Captain America, Iron Man, Storm, Ms. Marvel, and Star Lord. The beta includes a tutorial, single-player, and multiplayer matches against other users. This is an excellent opportunity for players to try out “Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls,” but we’ll have to watch and see how the fanbase reacts to it. There’s still some time before the game officially launches, so we’ll need to wait and see if there’s enough room for player feedback that can be realistically incorporated into the final product.
